Same, but different: Chapter 3

A month later, a lot has happened. First, I got a new Yu-gi-oh deck called Geargia. It’s pretty cool and I am now second place in my school. Not only that my friends have a thing going on in Study hall where we sit on a round table and play Yu-gi-oh. We always play big team battles that we never quite finish at thirty minutes. McVie is being an asshole as always. He’s been picking on me lately and getting onto me. Kerry and James have been a bunch of fun lately on the internet. We started playing a game called ‘Unturned’. A blocky zombie game. It’s fun if you like Minecraft and zombies.

Same, but different: Chapter 2

The next day I did my normal morning routine. Wake up at five, take a shower, and go to get food. My dad was there getting ready for work. He’s a supervisor for the Densal police department. Densal is a town about ten minutes away from Smiths Cliff. He’s a really cool guy. Best dad I’ve ever known. Then again, I only known one dad.

“Chase, how was school?” He asks me. Crap baskets, I wanted to avoid talking about school.

“Alright, boring though.”

“First days of school are always like that.” He hugs me, “I have to go now. Have a good day at school.”

Same, but different: Prologue

“Mommy, can we go home now? I’m cold.” I asked my mom as we walk through the frozen foods aisle.

“No, baby. You just want to go home and play games.” Mom replied making me blush with embarrassment.

“But, mo-”

A wild man screamed, “DIE DIE DIE!” as an automatic rifle goes off. Everyone screamed and panicked. Mom grabbed my arm and ran to the women’s bathroom. Tears rolled down my face as mom pushed me into a bathroom stall.

I wish upon a dragonball (?)

Albert Smirnov was hobbling down an alley making his way to the grocery store. Three boys confront him. Two in the front, one big one in the back. This was normal for Albert. The three boys always bullied and abused him for having one leg along with his feminine nature. He knew what was coming next.

“Hey, cripply faggot!” shouts the strawberry blonde boy beside one of his friends.

“Hey, Grant.” Albert sheepishly greets. The boy behind him pushes him down.

Chapter 1 Background and Recap

I have decided to write a diary, to document what is happening to me. I will have to recap from when it all started, but I am thinking of potentially publishing it anonymously on a TG site. I am hoping in writing this, that others will benefit from my weird life. Anyway, lets start with the recap and probably best to include a bit of background info.

Chapter Forty-one: Into The Breech

Note 1: Text in 'Italics and British quotes' is Parseltongue.

Note 2: Once more, I apologize for the bits and pieces of canon dialogue/narration here and there. But some canon scenes are just too good to change much. There's a lot of those in this one, but don't skim through or you'll miss things.

11th Sun: Chapter 28: Firefight

It’s been 36 hours. The hold is nearly empty, and the flood lights are back on for the second time. I know Tinoct has slept, and I went down for around six hours early this morning. I don’t think Hakho or Chinta has slept.

We’re ahead of schedule. The last of six convoys is here. The last truck is getting loaded. There are too many people to work on the last stack without getting in the way, so Hakho is supervising the last team.

I have a Mr. Coffee plugged in in the control bay, and I’m pouring myself a cup when Chinta comes over and rubs my shoulders a little bit.

Ian, part 11

“Go in peace to love and service the lord,” Reverend Stubbs proclaims with a wide smile on his face.

“In the name of Christ, amen,” I- and the rest of the congregation- reply.

“And on a slightly more festive note,” the young priest says, “a very, very Merry Christmas to you all!”

“Merry Christmas!” The congregation replies with light-hearted chuckles. I take a deep breath as I raise from my pew and help my grandmother to her feet. As usual, we’re one of the last to leave, and as usual, grandma stops to talk to the young vicar before we head out of the small church.

Alert: I want to warn readers that this story goes back into dark places in the first half. If you have triggers related to suicide, then you might want to avoid this, or steel yourself a bit. It is essential to the story, though. (The trigger area is between asterisks, so you can skip it if you prefer). Dawn.

Campfire songs Chapter 32

Chapter 32

The car was a seven seater, but I still ended up with Sasha on my lap strapped together. I don't think the driver was too impressed and he was definitely unsure about our costumes. A good tip when we arrived made him a lot happier. We rushed into the flat as quickly as possible. I can only imagine what anyone seeing us was thinking. Poor Abby was going to have to go out dressed bizarrely to buy us all clothes. We had given her all our sizes and she had written them down as a note on the phone.

Chapter 31

We were already struggling with the travelling. Without decent shoes and with Sasha being so small, without any of us being that big and strong to carry her for anything but small distances, going far on our feet was out. I stopped us when we were far enough away that my fear of fire was fading. We could all see a large amount of smoke though and a fire engine was probably not that far away. I gathered us all together for a group talk. We were away from the road so there wasn't anything to disturb us.

Chapter 30

Sasha was adorable. She had only been here a week, so Abby didn't think she had had any truly horrifying experiences yet. Mostly she was being trained. The shirt looked like a dress on her. We rolled the sleeves up and did all the buttons, but I came to the realisation, it was not going to be warm enough. We collected Sally and Jo. They were wearing panties and a short top like Abby, still the shirt was a great addition. We then went through the guest room and found some blankets. Gathered it all by the front door and waited.

“This place is a paedophile hotel. I'm getting to look a bit old. If no one is interested in you any more, I think they kill you and chuck you in the incinerator. They tell you that you are going to be rewarded, but I followed one girl who was unconscious being carried downstairs like a piece of meat.”
“Seriously?”
She did a deep sigh. “Sorry, I didn't want to start with the heavy stuff.”
“Let's start again. Hi I'm Sophie.” I held my hand out to shake hers.
“I know. I'm Abby. Abby Faulkner.” She shook my hand.

Chapter 26

Shades of a Goddess

To everyone else, the bet where Harley would dress in a costume of their choosing, was a fun bonus to what already promised to be an unforgettable night for the local chapter of the Young Citizens Club. To Harley Smith, the bet and the teasing that accompanied it was a constant reminder that the changes to his body, changes that no doctor could explain, would soon be made public.

Little did he know that the contest would be the least of his troubles. Supernatural forces have been conspiring against him since the day she was born.

With the help of a caring sister, a new love from a realm Harley never realized existed and a family she did not know she was a part of. Harley learns how to thrive in the Shades Of A Goddess.

This story involves characters from Saved by a Goddess & Saved by a Goddess: Gifts. While it is not necessary to read those before reading this, it helps.
