Living up to a promise

I am tentatively making up some plot arcs here for future readers' convenience.
Please note that it may be a little spoilerrific.

Book 1: Detainee - Chapters 1-6
Short Summary: Due to a case of mistaken identity, Citizen Marlon Hillier, whose life partner died in a traffic accident six months before, is shipped off to the female detention facility for ID fraud, money fraud and "unauthorised gender reassignment". In the place where no man has gone before he will find things he never thought he would.

Book 2: Citizen - Chapters 7-13
Short Summary: After the events of Book One, Hillier is restored to status of Citizen, and relocates to an apartment complex created to help reacquaint former detainees to the outside world. Troubles never imagined they would be such continue to follow our protagonist even outside the facility, however having people backing one up will prove to be invaluable. Offers of a new job and of love can't harm either. Right?

Book 3: Councillor - Chapters 14-ongoing
Short Summary: [DATA EXPUNGED - read it yourself folks, it's a wonderful story! ;) ]
