Well, I had my first session in group therapy today, and it was okay, I guess.

It was all women, I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not, but it made an interesting dynamic.

I had gone in not sure if I should speak much about being trans, or anything at all, but as it happened after listening to a couple of the women crying I found myself crying too, as I tried to describe the amount of stress I've been under the last couple of months.

I feel kinda tired after all those tears, but I'm hoping the group idea will be worth it.

Very Brave

But very necessary. You don't need to bring up being trans let them get to know you as the great women you are. So for now just be who you are and stop worrying about a difference that makes no difference.

All the emotional work you are doing may be the hardest work you ever have done but stick to it and realize rehashing where you have been and what rivers of drin you have had to wade through to survive becoming the great person you are. You will be emotionally exhausted which is as hard as dealing with physical exhaustion. Remember to pamper your self as a reward for all your hard work.

Does the group make you sign a non disclosure agreement?
