This morning at our weekly department meeting my colleagues were told about my "change of style" after this weekend.

I didn't attend this meeting on purpose, and I was told it went very well.
Our diversity manager from HR was there as well to explain the process and to answer questions.
It seems that our idea that it could be a little bit easier for them to ask questions without me being there.

When I came back to the office at noon, I got only very positive reactions from everyone.

I'm still in my "Martin disguise" at the office today and tomorrow. That way my colleagues have a chance to ask the lasts questions without being distracted by my new style ;-)
Friday is a holiday over here, so they will see the "new me" on Monday :-D

Exciting

When i cam out at my office we did the same thing. I worked from home for a few days while the team went to meetings. the first meeting was for the HR manager my manager and my manager's manager as well as all the people under my manager. the second meeting included all the people that worked under my manager's manager. the first 2 meetings i did not attend but i did listen in on the third and final meeting where they did ask me questions. It was received really well.

The funny part was the meeting invites went out to everyone a week before the first meeting and a few of my co workers were asking others what they knew about it. i of course (laughing on the inside) said no idea.

Good luck in the future!

Best of luck

With your "official change of style"!
And may it be smooth sailing at the office from then on...

I'm allowed to be optimistic, right?
