Beverly Taff's wife is in hospital suffering from an incurable brain tumor. They have operated and removed all they can get of the tumor. Beverly is such a good person and I would like to ask all of you, whatever your faith or beliefs, to send prayers and good wishes to Beverly and her wife.

Bev is a great writer and a good friend.

Thank you all.

Totally

I met Bev for the first time 3 weekends ago at Gabycon, her wife came but had better things to do than ride with us. Her sig line says she is "growing old disgracefully" but there's much more to her than that.
So I'm standing next to Cathy asking you to send as much positive thingies to Bev as you can spare.

Please get better, Mrs.Beverly Taft

Along with all the others, my prayers are with Beverly and her wife, and I am praying for Mrs. Taft, and for the health care professionals who are caring for her, and that the decisions they make will be those that will help her regain her normal state of health.

I've had the privilege

of meeting Helen, Bev's wife, a few times at Gaycons; she's a delightful lady with a sparkling personality and good sense of humour - she'd need it with Bev. I've known of this for a few days now and it has saddened me greatly. I have them both in my thoughts at this difficult time.

Beverly...

So sorry to hear of this. You are both definitely in the thoughts of myself and my family and we wish for you the best that might be.

Stay strong Bev. ((hugs))

My prayers...

are with both. I don't know either personally (my loss!), but that cannot stop me from expressing my hope that all goes well.

My prayers and thoughts are with you.

We've already spoken, so I would just like to remind you that should I be able to offer you any support, please do let me know. I will check on you from time to time, but I know that you will be quite busy with your wife.

Much Peace

Gwendolyn

{I leave a trail of Kudos as I browse the site. Be careful where you step!}

Thank you so much everybody.

My beloved wife of 38 years has come home after the operation to remove 90% of the tumour from her brain. I will be looking after her at home until I am no longer able and she needs more intensive, professional attention. During her time at home, the Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy start this week and that will involve daily visits to Singleton Hospital as per her clinical needs for the next 12 weeks, and possibly longer.

Sadly, even this intensive treatment will do no more than delay the inevitable end for the cancer is a grade 4 tumour and brutally aggressive. She is frightened and distressed by such devastating news.

Once again, thank you for your thoughts.

Needless to say, my input into BC activities will be severely reduced during these distressing times.

Bev.
