B.J, (ie) bamajoe, had just put the final touches on what he thought might be a marginally good Halloween contest story, when sudden his muse went into to over drive and a spin off story just flowed across his keyboard. Ten pages then twenty, he even broke that cardinal rule having lunch at his desk which include coffee, (as for at rule hot liquids and keyboards are not good friends) soon after he was up to thirty three neatly type and roughly edited pages. Then POOF, it all just vanished.

He stood with baseball bat in hand as he stalked the black box that sat innocently on his desk. The pretty blue light and buzzing fans belied the thief that laid within. "GIVE IT BACK" he fumed as he planted his feet in the just right position for a killing swing. From across the universe the voice of reason and logic came as if thunder in his ears. "That bat will undoubtedly do irrevocable damage to the system, the thirty three pages of text are still there, nothing just vanishes without a trace," the voice went silent. My god man this is RAAGGEE!!! logic has nothing to do with it!!

I'm all better now and if someone can give me a point in the right direction to find a "Locked" file in the 07 version of Ms word it would be greatly appreciated.
