Now that I have your attention, wait get your minds out of the gutter. Hmmm...sorry lost in thought there, my mind is in the gutter.

Anyway, where was I, Oh yes. A number of people have asked about my health, thank you. I am fine physically well, mentally well I'll have to get back to you on that. No I haven't been locked up or anything like that, although I have felt like it. Nope, I have been 'travelling' a lot for my new job.

Well I did ask for a full-time job, so beware what you wish for and all that. I have been contracting on and off for a while so real insurance and benefits are rather nice and let us not forget vacation. On my first day, my new job handed me my computer and tickets (figuratively) for a trip across the country for work. Spent a few weeks out West, then guess what shocking I received new orders to take my little old self up north.

Now, I believe this whole travel thing is finished. I mumbled something about 25% travel, although no one heard me. Really tired of hotel food and eating out. Sure its fun for a while, gets old pretty quick.

Well, that's pretty much what I have been doing and will update all my stories that I have not been able to get to (much less read anything, gads I am so behind in my reading)

Thanks for reading!

PS So where did the title come from. Well once I returned a group of friends showed up with some really old movies (and rather bad) and I got to watch the old Hobbit. Anyway, been humming that bloody tune all week :)

Hey!!!

Get your minds out of the gutter, so there's room for mine to float by. All kidding aside, its good to hear from you, especially with a posting.

I just want people to stop

I just want people to stop blocking my periscope.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Much better after a few bottles of wine, not sure what we were watching after a while.

Is fearr Gaeilge briste, ná Béarla clíste.

Broken Irish is better than clever English.

I've heard

Army units using that for calling cadence. :) Mind you, it didn't last long as the powers that be explain to the 'caller' that such was inappropriate' but it was fun while it lasted. You have to love the high nerd percentage in some military lintel units. At least it was during the 80's.

Having a job is great. Still better if you had more time for yourself, but that is why they call it the rat race.

Big hugs

Are you kidding?

Musicals in gaming is a time honored tradition! :) Can you remember those great hits like, "I'm a Paladin and I'm Okay!" With the usual fun fan references from everywhere you never know what a player or GM will bring to the table. "Smoke on the Water" as the Barbarian raider's ships is burning on the beach is good too.

Jackson made an excellent set of movies, but there are always choices to be made. His movies tend to be audio dark with Shore's soundtrack with some visual humor. The newer Hobbit movie is like that too.

I like Jackson's work, but disagree with some of his artistic choices. After all we readers have our own vision of Mr. Tolkien's works. :)
