Surprise

So... some of you might have noticed the fic I posted. Yeah... it was a surprise to me too. Ranma literally mugged me this morning and made me write and edit this today. It's fun and is a nice Epilogue to that story. It's not being helpful in other ways but it's at least something.

I can't remember if I told you all when I sprained my wrist? That had me out for like 5 weeks. Once that was gone I strained my ribs while sleeping. While effing sleeping! If only I could fire my body and hire a new one. Oy! But other than the pain how was the play Mrs. Lincoln? ;)

I am getting near the end of Written In The Body. Once that's done I am hoping to finish the last 3-5 chapters of 300 Rains and then I don't know. I might disappear for a good while as I focus on writing for pay. Not sure. Still juggling these things. So, just wanted to keep you all appraised of where I am and what I'm doing.

Hugs!

Poetheather, all of your

stories are a treat to read. Now you have me wondering about a Ranma sequel.

Uhm... Stan... did you read

Uhm... Stan... did you read the part in the last paragraph where I said I was going to probably stop writing anything but stuff that might get me paid? The only other story I mentioned was 300 Rains. Sure there might be possibilities for other things but as of right now... not likely. I am not saying never, because that's dumb but I am saying that my focus is shifting towards more professional work. So a sequel... unlikely.

I personally hope you stick

I personally hope you stick around even if you're not writing stories 'for free'.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Thanks. I may very well stay

Thanks. I may very well stay around to hang out. I still check stories and such.

no longer writing non-paying works

Hi,

I understand the problem myself...

I am (slowly) working on three stories, two of which are not my own, for posting here.

I have recently been drafted back into the work force for in-laws who only use family for their highest business positions (on a temporary basis - hah - of course) and who are now argueing (semi-successfully) for me to return to Europe once again so I can actually sit in a man-made ediface in order to do that work.

I'm considering this but since I'm a bit over the 70 threshhold it seems a little daunting.

As everyone needs money, at least in this day and age unless you can live off of air - which I can't... then producing written material for self-gratification is a little too far on the altruistic side of things.

Good luck in your financial (paying) endeavors but keep an eye out here as well. You never know what you're going to run across in either a story or a blog - and there have been some interesting ones which have gotten me to thinking. (Good Lord, just what I need - another story idea)

;-) good luck, may the tides and fortune (the force) be with you

Story Writing

I sincerely hope all the BCTS authors will stay and continue to submit their wondrous stories here. I do realize that some income is necessary to support your lifestyle, but please do not forget about your fans here!

And in spite of that paragraph, Good luck in all your future writings, whether or not for profit!

Don't let someone else talk you out of your dreams. How can we have dreams come true, if we have no dreams?

I assume you can announce any 'for pay' books here

as Tanya Allan and Maddy have done so.

That said, posting a freebee, once in a while as you are effectively advertising for commercial reasons would be a reasonable quid pro quo. As you know, the better authors do very well publishing. Any new postings will inform any newbies of your writing prowess at the same time and draw them to read from your past postings and also drive them to your for pay offerings.

While it saddens me (greatly)

While it saddens me (greatly) that we might not see any more of your non pay writing (Like Bladedancer) I'm going to just suck it up and serenely wish you the best of luck with your profit efforts. :)

Will you be able to tell us of any of your writings that get published? I know you changed your name here and on other sites so as to not have it associated with any professional endeavors so you might not want a way for people to connect the two out there in the internet.

You bet I will let people

You bet I will let people know about upcoming books.
