5000 words, that is. ;) As of chapter 5 of my story, "I Ain't Gay", I've reached a word count of 6145*!

This is significant for a couple of reasons. The first one is because it's been a pretty long time since I've written a story this long. The second is because I had originally written this story for the September/October 2012 Reconciliation story contest, and one of the requirements for this contest was the story needed to be at least 5000 words long. Even though it's long past being able to submit my story, I'm still glad for the inspiration to start this tale. I've been having so much writing it. :)

Brevity...

5000 words to you is like 10-12,000 words for an average author. You have a very concise, well written style that can get over a scene in the very minimum that needs to be said.

I enjoy your writing style, and even went back and read a couple of your other stories the other day. They are all gems, and I'm happy to read anything you choose to write.

Brevity is wit,

but when it comes to stories, let the MUSE loose!

Congratulations! As someone

Congratulations! As someone working on her first story towards this length, I've only just realized how difficult it is. I love the wit and humor you've injected into this story and look forward to more of your work.
