I've just popped a book onto Kindle that I have been working on for ages... I'm clearing the backlog slowly.

Find it here... It Couldn't Happen, or Could it?

Synopsis: -

Fifty-year old electrical contractor Tom gets up in the early hours of the morning to relieve his bladder. Fed up with his wife nagging him for 'missing', he surrenders his male dignity and sits to complete his operation while still half-asleep.
However, on this particular morning he wakes up rather more than usual, for he discovers that while he was sleeping, he has now become a she.... completely and painlessly.
This is not exactly expected, nor is it entirely welcome. Despite the fact that as a young lad Tom actually believed he should have been a girl, he had decided to play out life with what he had, so married and fathered three children and became a successful businessman.
Their world was turned completely upside down as Tonia begins her life at fifty, with Mary doing her best to teach her while coming to terms with the fact that Tom has now gone forever.
What will they do, and where will they go?
What reactions can they expect for the children, friends and his parents?
Will the press find out, and what sort of future can they possibly hope for?
Will they be together or.......?

.................another fantasy set in reality

Well I am tempted

There are only two reasonable possibilities for an ending: a) They stay together and somehow resolve themselves into a new partnership or b) They both start dating separately because the husband now a woman will 'of course' find men suddenly irresistible and the two of them will wind up double dating and getting married separately but remain friends.

However, having read a lot of the authors works I am inclined to believe the latter will happen and since I always hope for the a) option above, I must respectfully decline.

There's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong clothes!

I'll buy it!

I like the way you write and the stories that you tell. ^^ I know that not everyone can be pleased but I am at least :)

Will order it asap!

Not every journey follows ...

... the same path, you know. Don't assume every story from an author you've read before is going to wind up where you think it will. Sometimes writers will go where they've never gone before and explore new directions and new ideas. We do like to work without a net occasionally – and storytellers like to be surprised just as much as readers do. *grin*

This is just a gentle reminder to think twice before you turn away from a story because you think you know where it's going to go. You just might be cheating yourself out of something new. *smile*
