After giving it a lot of thought I've decided to take a little break from writing stories in the DRU---that's not to say I might not drop in a chapter or two of To Dance With The Devil as the weeks go on but it might be a long while before that particular story is finished. I'm not really sure what I want to do in its palce but I've been getting some good advice from a lot of people---I want to thank everyone for that :)

I'll keep you all updated as soon as I figure out what my next story might be :)

I'm taking a break from the DRU not writing in general. I'm going to take the rest of the week off to figure out what I want to do but its not going to be DRU, at least not for a while anyway :)

Why not do NaNo?

Something completely different from your norm? You'd still be writing -- and quite prolifically, given the needed word count for the month of November -- but it would give you a chance to take a walk in perhaps something non-TG for a while, allowing you to avoid so many of the tropes and pitfalls of our favorite genre and instead focus simply on writing a fun story.

A little under 2000 words a day wouldn't be tough for you, would it? And who knows? It could lead to a publishing deal!

I'll be glad to read whatever you put out.

Do what's best for your muse. The DRU can wait.

Have delightfully devious day,

Don't be bullied

I really like your stories, and feel like you have the talent to be good with many different kinds of genres. Sometimes people do not realise that when something is said, well, it's said.

Tired of writing

I'm tired of writing in general. I don't even want to put a shopping list together. I started my novel but suddenly got sucked into depression. I fear that when I do the suicide scene, it might be my breaking point. I've been thinking of taking up some hobbies; maybe chuteless skydiving or testing electrical outlets by licking them (works on 9 volts)

Writing is what you do when you put pen to paper, being an author is what you do when you bring words to life
