This is an election year. It is also a leap year. Tomorrow, the annual American football championship game will be played, and the teams competing in this year's Super Bowl are the New England Patriots and the New York Giants. Four years ago it was also a leap year, and an election year, and the Giants faced the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

That last Patriots/Giants Super Bowl game featured in Episode 22 of my serial, Stephanie's Deal. It was published on December 4, 2009. I've only released one more chapter since then, and that was way back on July 30, 2010.

I'm pretty sure the reason the Giants are playing the Patriots this year is that it's the universe telling me, "Hey Jenni, get off your ass and put out another chapter already!" I think I know what my plans for this weekend are now.

Several more chapters. After all; Kaleigh, Connie, Zoe, and Megan are back with new postings. Jennifer should be too.

Yes Yes Yes

The Universe is telling you something. Please listen PLEASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSe.

The only bad question is the one not asked.

What the universe is telling me...

Well, I'd never heard of Stephanie's Deal (I'm too new here for that), but when I went back to the main page, the list of "20 random authors" had Jennifer Brock right at the top. Hmmm... Is the universe telling me to take a look at the story?

Yeah ! ! !

Would have commented sooner but I've been doing cartwheels since reading your post a couple of hours ago. Let me try to make up for past injustices here. You see, I have been a silent reader for the most part. Though I have greatly enjoyed your stories, I have never left a comment. My two favorites are Ready? Okay! and Stephanie's Deal. I also really enjoyed Oscar Night, Pink Ribbon, Domestic Partnership, and Prudence House. Many of your stories I have read more than once. Now if only every year could be a leap year and election year with the Giants and Patriots on the Super Bowl.

just adding my 2 cents

Hi Jennifer, I've just recently found this wonderful story site, and have become a huge fan of your literary works of art. I just finished reading Stephanie's Deal and it left me crying for more, so since the the universe is suggesting that more chapters needed, who are we to question why( hint hint :))Especially since the Giants won again. I hope all is going well in your RL,and I'm looking forward to some new chapters that maybe get stephanie to her goal's in life, anyway just thank you for such fine story telling!

P.S. sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved pet bandito, I've felt that pain a few times, always hard....

slower than I want to be

I've been trying to get back to that story, but like many of us on here I have issues with depression and it's messing with my sleep schedule and eating up my free time.

I do have Stephanie's second day of school finished, but I'd been hoping to fit at least two days of progress into this next update. Would you rather get a shorter chapter tomorrow than have to wait for a longer one?

slower than I want to be

Hi Jenn, thanks for the reply, I understand and sympathy's with you when it comes to dealing with depression. My mom passed away a year ago this week and I've not been doing to well either. As much I would love to see more of stephanie's deal, I would never want to impose on you(or any other author for that matter)to produce more material. I'm just offering words of encouragement and I'm sure when your up to it, more chapters will appear. I trust you'll post them when it feels right. I'd just like to say I have read several of your other stories and have enjoyed them all(Santa Monica still brings me to tears even when I think about it). In closing I hope your RL issues become not so depressing in the future and your creativity can flourish.
Thanks, Taarpa
