What a Long Strange Trip it's Been

So as I'm staring at my stories page, I noticed that Becoming Robin is 4 hits away from 10,000. The next closest is chapters 2 and 3 at around 6.5k so of course hits don't mean much :-) But since Robin is technically one year old at this point (Though her 1 year anniversary is in a couple of weeks) I thought I'd post something appropriate.

Becoming Robin has been many things to me. It's been my stress relief, my escape, my demon exorcism, and in many ways, my salvation. I have made more wonderful friends because I wrote that novel and breached my writer's block. I have sisters willing to lend me support and help me get out of this place I've been stuck in for so long.

I can't say details yet because I need to see if this is all really going to work, if we can make it work, but for the first time I have hope. I have a chance to get therapy, to get help, and to live at least part time as Zoe by the end of the year, if everything goes flawlessly :-)

So thank you TopShelf, for all your support, for your friendship, for laughing and crying with me, for encouraging me to write and to continue writing.

Thank you to Erin for making this such a welcoming and wonderful place to post.

And finally, thank you to Gabi, wherever you are, for being my guardian angel when I didn't know I had one.

Love,
~ Zoe

thanks to you, Zoe

You are repaying the help you received by helping others, including me. I'm glad you found hope, its the main thing. I had as a tagline : "You can live for weeks without food, days without water, and minutes without air. But you cannot survive even a minute without hope" I'm cheering you on, dear.

Thank You Zoe for Becoming Robin

Hi Zoe
I don't comment much but felt I need to here.
Thank you so much for Becoming Robin I totally love the story and await each new chapter with bated breath. Usually by the time I read the new chapter there are so many great comments I don't know what to add, but I always give Kudo's for a great story.
Having been living my dream to be the person I should have been, and being full time as Patti for 2 yrs next month.
I'll keep you in my payers for both the therapy and the opportunity to live at least part time with hopes that you can eventually, sooner rather than later, be able to live full time.
As it happens I also know another Zoe and the other has not only been able to start living full time but has found a wonderful woman to share her life as Zoe. I would truly wish the same for you.
((((((hugs))))))
Always
Patti
