I am afraid that because of changed circumstances in my life, it is highly unlikely that I will be able to post any new stories in the foreseeable future, perhaps forever. I would therefore like to thank Erin for allowing me to post stories here for several years, despite the relatively low readership, and to the few people who continued to take an interest in what I wrote.

I with the site continued success.

to see a respected author leaving. I wish you well and hope you'll be able to write and post here again some time in the future.

I'm sad-

to see you go. I really enjoyed your stories. Doughboy was my favorite I think but I liked many of the others as well. I hope you're mistaken and is able to return sometime in the future. I wish you well, and may you have good fortune.

Hugs!

I Loved Your Stories

That historical twist was very realistic.

I just hope that it's good news for you that takes you away from us and so you know that there will be cheers if you can come back,

Joanne

I am profoundly saddened by this news...

I grew as a writer from reading your works, that plots don't have to read like potboilers but can grow organically from the circumstances, and that internal stylistic consistency can support a good story without blindly following someone else's checklist of "shoulds" (I even made a clumsy attempt to emulate your stories with Alchemy & Essence but halfway thru the writing reverted to type). Glad that we at least still have your existing stories here though sad that there won't be any new ones to take us to times and places we might not have really thought about otherwise. Hope all goes well in your life, happiness, prosperity, truth, peace of mind, all that...
~~~hugs, Veronica
All the best to you,
and hope your life will allow you to circle back here where your talents are appreciated, and your friendship is valued. Be safe, be careful, and come back to us when you can. Until then, fair winds, smooth sailing, and exciting ports to you.
Hugs,
Cathy
Hail and Fairwell
I will miss you, over the years you have added to my enjoyment of reading at this site, and many are the bookmarks that point to your stories. Some I have yet to read hope soon to do so.
Come back and visit often and hopefully drop a word of advise to those of us, well at least me, who still tarry here. May your skill, imagination, carry on into what ever endeavor your life takes you on.
You're a fine author,
You're a fine author, Melissa, and I was saddened to read your farewell. I hope that things improve for you and that life treats you well, and perhaps someday we'll see more of your writing.
{I leave a trail of Kudos as I browse the site. Be careful where you step!}
Your stories has this off angle tilt
... that makes a reader feel it is from just a bit of a different place. Adam's pregnancy is one of ones I liked. The way to told the story was mostly third person which is rarer here at BC. Your choice of subject matter is all your own and have not seen it much in other stories, if at all.
Wish you well, hon.
Joining the Chorus
RAMI
I can not add to much to what others have said, so i will joi9n the chorus and say that I enjoyed your stories that I have read and will miss seeing new ones. Hope what is happening in RL is for the good, rather then a negative.
Other then a welcome from Erin, the first two messages I received from anyone on this site were from you. They made me feel welcome and part of the community.
Best wishes
