Still Sick.

I am SLOWLY getting a bit better, but I am still way below normal functional parameters. Again, I apologise to those with whom I usually chat, but my awake times have been so erratic, and I've lost so much time that errands and tasks I'd planned to do, fell by the wayside and got bunched up. I have tons of stuff I have to do, and nowhere near time enough to do them all.

If there is a bright spot in all this, it's that the weather here is supposed to be nice through the weekend with lots of sunshine, so I can get outside and soak up some of it.

Thanks for your patience, everyone. If you try to skype me and don't get an answer, assume I've "passed out" and don't worry. It's just my body trying to tell me that it needs rest and time to beat this thing.

See you all on the other side of this flu.

Hugs 'n stuff,
Cathy

trade you?

Just had hip surgery this morning, hooked up to an electric cooling unit with tubing to my hip and some other kind of pneumatic things around my calves to prevent svt...
The vicodin helps although the nerve block thing is wearing off; think I will go back to sleep now.
Hope you get better quick so you can enjoy the weather this weekend, the flu is no fun.

Flu bug

I had it last week just after coming back from the Southern Comfort Conference and caught it from one of my co-workers.

It is a long road ahead but I will finally become who I should be.

Sorry you've been ill and Nuclear waste.

I always have a little cough that usually works its self out during and after breaky.

For the last couple weeks the cough has gotten progressively worse, to the point it was keeping me up nights. Oddly, I was expelling clear mucous. Well, I finally went to the Doctor and he gave me some over the counter stuff; saying that I am very allergic to something here in Ohio. Well, it is not surprising because I am just up the road from several agregate plants, a Morton's Salt plant, a Nuclear waste remediation activity ...

Happily, I am feeling better, though I am having to wear blindfolds to bed at night because when I cough, the mist cloud glows, and it it quite anoying. It is also quite discomfiting to have little mushroom clouds show up when I pass gas. :(
