I thought it was about time for a real update at the Balcony and here it is!

That should be
a wonderful addition to a great collection of authors. Even the picture on her page would be perfect if it weren't so drk as to not be clearly seen. The artwork you use is superb usually.
Visual Effects
Actually the darkness of the artwork is intentional. If you mouse over the portrait it works as a cool spotlight and shadow effect that I am fond of using when it seems appropriate. A little interactive bit I guess.
