I'm inviting all of you to write your own story in my new universe, The Home That Love Built.

So far, Grover is the only one to take up the task, and she did a wonderful job. http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/fiction/12443/sanctuary-heart-...

The whole purpose of this place is for all of YOU to have a say, to write a story about how YOU would feel if such a place existed. What would make you come to it? What is the backstory? I'm hoping this won't be a flop, but it's all up to all of you.

The rules and such are posted in my story: http://bigclosetr.us/topshelf/forum/11675/home-that-love-bui...

I ask only that you send any stories to me first, so I can make sure they stay canon. will look them over and send them back to you with any changes that might need to be made. Again, the ONLY reason for this is to keep the stories canon and chronologically straight, if I can.

At the beginning of this, I want to concentrate on TS characters who, like the protagonist in Grover's story, have no place to go. I prefer to keep this place for garden variety TGs. For now, no femme dom, or forced fem. In the future, these will be accepted, but in a different sort of "Home" that I will be working on to augment this one.

I have nothing against those types of stories, but I want to start this slowly as this Home becomes more accepted, and more stories appear in it, I will accept the aforementioned stories, for inclusion.

I also want to make certain that I will willingly take suggestions from you, the readers and writers, about how this should be run, and what should be avoided or included. I know this can never match some of the other universes, like Bikini Beach, or SRU, but a place like this has been the dream for so many of us. A place where we could be safe, where we could learn, and grow, and transition in a loving, caring atmosphere, surrounded by people who know what to do, and who truly care.

So. YOU write the stories. YOU decide what makes your character, or YOU, want or need to come to such a place. Use Grover's story as a blueprint if you wish, or don't. Individuality is wanted and needed here. The only things that cannot be changed are the main characters in my initial story, and the Home itself, and of course, any characters who take up residence in the Home.

C'mon, all you talented writers out there! Show us whatcha got! I know there are some tremendous talents out there.

Huggles 'n love from,
Catherine Linda Michel

It's not that it's not a good idea

But I've at least half a dozen other stories on the go at the moment, most of which are going through the "I've got this far; now how do I make it appealing to the reader?"

Some are in for the long haul; nowhere near complete.

I think your universe deserves a certain quality of story and my muse is in serious holiday mode at the moment. Rest assured that I will be knocking at your virtual door if I get anything that I consider comes anywhere near the target.

Surprisingly enough...

... I have an idea for a story in your universe. It's surprising because I read almost exclusively (except for several excellent series on this site) SF and fantasy, and have never written anything else -- except for a couple of kids' stories for my boys.

So, it'll go somewhere near the head of my queue.

I'm working on it...

I've been looking for a short-story subject to get my arms swinging again.

I've got what I think is a good idea. Now it just needs an ending.

I'll send it to you as soon as it takes shape.

Needs an ending?

Just start it and let the ending take care of itself. That way, the author will be as surprised as everyone else. :-)
