I'm sorry . . . So sorry; or is that silly?

Hydee hoo dear friends,

I’ve had several of you write to me, inquiring as to when they might see another episode of Matilda’s adventures. I think this will be the best way to answer everyone.

Yes, I’m still alive and hope to be for a long time to come, although there were some who were wondering.

Yes, I’m still writing. I have a lot of writing to do and Matilda will have a lot of adventures before she goes to Russia with Hayfield.

When will I post the next chapter? When it’s ready of course :-). I know, I know, that’s a pretty poor answer, but if you remember when I recalled SLC 12 I said I would never do that again, so I have to get it right. Just so you know Hills 17 is in its fifth rewrite. I think I’ve finally got all the bugs, mistakes, miss understandings, things that can’t happen, and over aged writing worked out, but you never know.

Of course, like everyone else, I’ve had my share of problems with real life. To keep my spirits up and help forget about other problems I’ve adopted a little friend. She’s a small black cat with three white toes and a very quiet purr. She likes to sleep in the bathroom sink and on my bed. Right now she resting on my bed with both front paws on my elbow, silly girl.

So everyone be patient and remember, good things come to those who wait. Well, at least they become good at waiting.

Its is nice that you are keeping well, your friend obviously adopted you. My feline friend thinks my router is a nice warm pillow, i have to shift him occassionally to let it cool down.

lots of Huggs

You'll get the chapter where you want it....

... and post no chapter, before it's time. :-)

Fans are looking forward to seeing how you handle things... Some subjects are harder to write about than others... And, some folks have been consuming your time proofing their attempts at writing (okay I admit to that bit). And, I'm also looking forward to the further adventures of Matilda, Mary Beth and the rest...

RL DOES seem to intrude when you are not looking. Good luck with your new supervisor.
