Where's the content?

I was going through the Author Directory the other day and I noticed several no longer have any content for them, when there was before. Like StacyInLove for example. Did these Authors request removal and if so are they now up for sale somewhere else or gone for good.

Yes, some authors ask for the unpublishing of their stories. They own them so that is their right. Sometimes it is because they are publishing commercially, sometimes they want the chance to revise and repost, sometimes it is for personal or other reasons. I seldom ask but do try to discourage.

Thanks Erin for your reply. Sometimes I re-read stories for enjoyment. Just like with Snowfall and Wolfjess, I've re-read their stories so many times, at least the ones still posted here, I discover things that I missed from before. Or visualize another face/actress as the main character.

Sometimes Erin corrects a mistake. College is the first time away from everyone we would embarrass by doing something stupid. One time, one night, I got drunk. First and last time I ever drank alcohol. Thank God the only result was I got drunk. Sadly Erin wasn't there to erase the memory. Some stories are like that, needing to be left in the dust bins of our minds. Sometimes in a moment of insanity I post when I should have hit delete and thankfully Erin is there to remove an embarrassment.
