I've been authorized to share this: Yesterday, Andrea DiMaggio, one of our long time contributors here and a personal friend, suffered a terrible loss. Her wife, Tracy was struck by a car and died in hospital a short time later.
Please join me in sending Drea our hugs, prayers, and support at this most difficult time.

I can only express my sympathy to Andrea, her family and friends in their loss. A huge electronic hug and gross of Dorothy's electronic huggles for her in this time of grief.

Damn. I wish I could offer more than words to Andrea. I hope she has support in her time of need from family, may her wife RIP and look down on Andrea until she joins her many years down the road.

What a nightmare, my heart goes out Andrea. That kind of loss happens to someone else not to your loved one. I hope they stopped and offered help instead of running away. Was it a drunk driver ?

Loss for words
I can't imagine how difficult it must be for her. I hope that her support system comes through and adds to the etherial hugs and good wishes I am sending her.

I am so sorry to read such sad news. The loss of a spouse is heartbreaking. Been there, cancer, and still working through the grief it causes.

I have never met Andrea but have enjoyed her stories over they years. I do have the unfortunate experience of dealing with families who have lost loved ones from being struck by cars and can express nothing but the deepest sympathy for Drea and her loved ones.

I am deeply saddened by Tracey's departure from this life. It is my prayer that her soul not wander and she find eternal peace. I wish Drea, Joe, Danielle and Tracey's kin a fast healing from this most grievous wound.
