When stanman63 mentioned in a comment on the latest chapter of my story, Madam Martinique's Finishing School, how it reminded him of a combination of Aunt Jane's Season's House (the original story appears to have written by Joel Lawrence) and Karen Page's SPA series (aka A New Style of Education, it got me curious.

While I've read and enjoyed the stories in the SPA universe (by all three authors ^.^), I didn't recall reading about Seasons House, so I decided to do some searching. While I was tempted to read the stories, I eventually decided against it so it wouldn't have too big of an effect on the universe I'm developing for Madam Martinique's Finishing School. I did find a very interesting character study of Aunt Jane done by Tigger with Brandy Dewinter. There do seem to be a lot of similarities between her and Madam Martinique. I'd love to see a conversation between those two women. Maybe someday they could meet in a chatroom? I realize they're both fictional characters, but with today's technology, almost anything could happen. :)

Heather, That Would Make For An Interesting

Chat. I would love to see either Tigger or Brandy do Aunt Jane to your Madame Monique. I am flattered that I encouraged you to take a look at Aunt Jane.

After you finish this series....

Heather,
after you finish this series with Madam Martinique. THEN read all of the Thompson Academy stories. Some are light, some are dark, all are interesting. But, you are correct in that it may alter your way of thinking about your own series.
So please finish this series before hand.
