Okay, so I thought I'd take another stab at this poll thing. This time around, I have a few new stories to the list and instead of choosing one story. Each idea on a scale can be rated from 0 to 5.

Please follow the link to vote. https://danielawolfe.com/blog/gauging-interest-2/

I'll repost the full text of the blog here, but due to technical limitations the only way to answer the poll is on my website.

Let's kick things off with a bit of an update. For quite a while I've been having trouble tackling a particular part of Legacy of Earth and it put writing at a stand still, but after letting it sit for a while I've found my way through that part of the story and things look to be going well.

As far as the Virtually Twisted rewrite goes, I've done some work on that too, but I doubt I will finish it before serialization begins. That being said, I have more than 31,000 words written so I'll have a sizeable backlog of parts for the weekly serial.

I am currently making final edits to Psyren's Redemption and will post the full version on BigCloset Topshelf, Fictionmania, and TGStorytime when it is complete.

Now, that that bit of business is out of the way I'd like to gauge interest in some ideas. I know I've done this once before, but a new story and a couple of old ones to add to the list. One of these will be the weekly serial after Virtually Twisted. I may or may not begin posting the second story some time while Virtually Twisted is still being posted.

Legend of Morgana: Revenge of a Spellbinder (Ragnarok Rising Prequel)

Basically, this would be the origin story of Morgana le Fey, the ancestor of Bryn , Athilda & Aryanna in the Ragnarok Rising series who is based off of a figure in Arthurian legend. It would detail her quest for vengeance against an evil tyrant and her journey from simple village boy to powerful Sorceress. This story is one which I've had on the back-burner for a long time, and as such it is one of the more developed ideas. Ambrosius Aurelianus (One of the possible inspirations for King Arthur) and Myrddin Wyllt (the inspiration for Merlin) will be featured heavily as the antagonists of this tale. This story would weave Authurian legend with Norse mythology and elements of English folklore.

The Fall and Rise of Kruhl

This would be the second story or third story in my Exemplar Universe (see below), set some time after the events of Psyren's Redemption and would be loosely connected to the previous story in much the same way as Iron Man and Thor are connected in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I want to include both Sapphira and Amelia in this story, but have yet to decide how prevalent their roles will be. At the very least, they will have a small cameo, but I suspect their role will be greater than that. As far as the story goes, the protagonist Kruhl, will be an aging barbarian warrior who was once a hero among his people, but after defeating a wicked sorcerer, rose to power as the new leader and became a tyrant. He is overthrown, and cast out of his realm by those he once ruled over. When he awakens, he is on Earth, and transformed into a young college-aged woman of diminutive stature, what is seen as the ultimate insult to someone who once prided himself on his strength and virility. His sword, the source of his powers, is also inadvertently sent to Earth, but through the interference of AEGIS it is separated from him. As he struggles with his new gender, severely weakened body and his new found attraction to men, he seeks to retrieve the sword and to find a way to return home so that he may seek vengeance against those who deposed him. Unfortunately, he but finds himself hindered by the efforts of a villain, who also seeks the power of the sword for her own selfish reasons.

Untitled Exemplar Story

Set in the Exemplar Universe like the above tale, this one could either be the second or third story (see above). Of all the stories here, this one has seen very little development, but I have the basic foundations for a story. It just needs to be fleshed out more. A father of terminally ill girl, is approached by a representative of a corporation that claims it is able to cure his daughter, using experimental nanite therapy, but there's a catch. They want him, in turn to participate in a trial for a radical nanite treatment. Unfortunately, the treatment is designed to completely transform him into a woman. He reluctantly agrees, and is transformed in ways he hadn't expected and given super powers. Unfortunately, the corporation isn't exactly on the level and he soon discovers that the supposed unintended side effects of his change were very intentional and that the company aims to do some very shady things with the nanite technology. The company tries to exterminate him, but he escapes and he soon discovers that he is wanted by the authorities. The rest of the story is a race against time as he attempts to expose the company, clear his name and save his daughter from the clutches of the corporation. Again, Sapphira and Amelia will probably make an appearance in this story, but the extent of their involvement is up in the air.

A Rock and A Hard Place: A Twisted Tale

Another story, I've wanted to write for a long time, this one, like Virtually Twisted, is set in Morpheus's Twisted Universe. Despite this, I have not given anything close to the same amount of consideration I have for the Ragnarok Rising prequel. The story would involve the college-aged protagonist getting transformed into a girl and developing an obsession with eighties era rock music or possibly metal music and a desire to learn how to produce that type of music. One possible means through which this might happen is that the protagonist is stranded naked near a lake, through a juvenile prank and finds a shirt with a rock music motif unfortunately it happens to be a women's shirt. When he undergoes his twist, he will face the usual bigotry and vitriol, but I want to write a tale where the protagonist finds acceptance within his community through the help of sympathetic friends and is able to show his worth to the larger community by proving that 'she' isn't a danger to anyone. I doubt this would feature any cameos from any other characters in this universe, mine or otherwise, largely because it would be set in a separate town from the others and would not directly involve the town of Spiral.

Of Princes & Princesses (Novel/Novella length extended version of original flash fiction)

This story is probably one of the oldest ideas I have for a TG tale. It predates Virtually Twisted by several years. I actually began writing a version of it years ago, but I can't seem to find the original file and believe it may have been deleted. Basically, it would follow the premise of the flash fiction piece, and would begin with two monarchies negotiating a treaty after being at war for many years. When the peace talks begin to break down, Ravan the Prince of one of the nations collapses and transforms into a woman. It is hailed the will of the gods and the new princess is set to be married to her counterpart in the other kingdom, but all is not what it seems. Ravan has made a dark pact and she will stop at nothing to gain control of both nations.

People begin to disappear, but no one suspects that it could be Ravan. She is changed since her transformation, where once she was bloodthirsty and arrogant, she seems to have become the exact opposite, submissive and gentle, but under the surface she is full of as much malice and hatred as she had before. As she carries out the will of her new mistress, she manipulates, lies to and seduces whoever stands in her way. This story would contain multiple male to female transformations and would be the darkest in theme of any of my stories to date. This story would put me outside my comfort zone which is why I never completed it and why I never started it back up again. So why then is it in this poll? No matter how hard I try it just keeps popping back into my head. Even writing the flash fiction version did not keep it at bay.

Untitled Body Swap Tale

This story idea is the newest on the list and is quite different than the others. It would focus on the victim of a forced bodyswap, a former young woman who worked as a secretary to high-powered executive. Pretty, vain, and not particularly bright, this girl finds that her body has been stolen by the creepy office janitor. Worse yet, he seems to know everything about her and has managed to fool all her friends and family.

She searches to find a way to swap back, but, much to her dismay, the former janitor in her body goes and gets himself killed. Now she has no choice, but to live out the rest of her life in his dumpy little body. At first, she sinks into a deep depression, but then she meets a witch who offers her a chance to change events and right what has been done to her. There's just one problem she's fallen in love with her.

Appetite For Seduction (Sequel to Hunger Pangs)

This is a story I started writing, but abandoned after losing interest. I'm a little bit surprised, but I've actually had a few people approach me about this project so I thought I'd see if there's how much of an interest there is in it. Set in the DarkRealms Universe, this story would follow the Succubus Rachel and her Werebear boyfriend. After they defeated the Tenebris Petentibus, Rachel must balance college life, babysitting Tammy a fellow succubus with a child-like mind, her Sister Selina, her boyfriend Daniel, keep a close eye on 'Stacy', the succubus who formerly led the forces of the Tenebris Petentibus as Colonel Albert Steagab, and still somehow find time to feed.

As she plays out her little juggling act, things take a new turn as a newly awakened succubus arrives in town, injured and feeding on the sexual energies of many different victims. Rachel must find her before she exposes them to the normals living in town. Unfortunately, she soon finds herself distracted by a handsome stranger. Though she loves her boyfriend dearly she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him. What new trouble does this newcomer pose and why can't she keep him out of her head?

Please let me know what you think. I'm doing it a bit differently this time around. Instead of having you vote on one story, I'm doing each one on a scale of 0 to 5. Zero obviously means you would never read it and 5 means you want to read it the most. Please ensure to fill out all fields as you cannot complete the survey without selecting them.

Thank you and have a delightfully demented day

Daniel A. Wolfe.
