Most of you are probably bored by the regular advertisements for 'The Frozen Balance' on BCTS.
Sorry about that (but not much - you will see why below).

~o~O~o~

What you might not know is that I assigned all the proceeds from 'The Frozen Balance' to Doppler Press (aka Erin and team) and the sales that Doppler Press have generated in the first month have:

a. Generated ten times more revenue than when I self published (over $1,000) in about one month.
b. Is likely to generate around $3,000 revenue this year.
c. All revenue is assigned to keep BC/TS functioning.

Other authors have done similar deals with Erin with varying levels of profit sharing.
(To put this in context my agent for my mainstream books gets 15% of everything I write. My publisher gets 70% of all books published.)

Might I suggest that if you are not getting very much from self publishing right now that you have a chat with Erin? If she can give you a slice of the pie that is larger than the whole pie you are getting now it seems like a good idea. Oh and you will be helping the site as well. :)

Just a caveat, it doesn't always work out that way. A few authors we have published books for do not seem to sell that well. We're not sure why that well-written, interesting titles do not sell but it happens.

On the other hand, books in our "sweet-spot" generally do sell well. These are well-written novels and novellas (and a few novelettes) about young people exploring gender and having adventures. The kind of stuff lots of authors here on BC do write. :)

Erin
