You had me at the "mermaid, time travel, pirates" tags...
And I seem able to access the Patreon story okay; which is a great time travel yarn so far (waking up in a strange body in a strange place seems to be a recurrent theme in your stories...); The Florida beginning, the Captain and ship's surgeon, uncanny these parallels to my series, which doesn't surprise me given our shared mental wavelength in certain areas. But I'm hoping your heroine isn't just some metaphorical or imagined or quantum indeterminate mermaid. I'm a literalist when it comes to mers.
Maybe when she gets her bath, that triggers the change sometimes...

Reneging on my Patreon Pledge
I deleted my $5 (tight month) PATREON pledge because their e-mail said they would collect it on July first, when it's very unlikely that I'll have five dollars. I payed it instantly thru Paypal instead. Still a great story...
