Stressed to the max

Let's rant (A little).

Hey peoples.

I just wanted to drop a quick note here to apologize for being so quiet other than just popping up to post new content. I haven't been able to just sit down and write in a couple of weeks, which is a bad thing because we're nearing the end of our postable content :-P

I'm massively stressed right now. If you follow me on social media you already know what's going on with my father's health (lung disease AND cancer), and we're trying to move on top of it. We're technically homeless right now, as the IRS managed to eff up my paperwork causing a week's delay in the loan application. It should go through tomorrow, and if so, we close Friday.

And then there's the actual moving. We have an army of volunteers to help, but you know what they say about herding cats, or maybe it's too many cooks in the kitchen? Either way, it's about to be a chaotic couple of weeks, so I want to apologize in advance if our stories just completely drop off for a couple of weeks.

Ashly and I have ideas for days, it's just getting them into a readable format with me living off Mylanta to stave off ulcers that's the problem.

I'm kidding. It hasn't gotten to me that much yet :-) But it does keep me distracted, and to add to that I'll probably not have internet access for a week or two after we move, depending how fast SuddenLink can get us set up. It's just a whole lot of chaos right now.

Normally I thrive on chaos, but there's such a thing as too much of a good thing.

But yeah, I just wanted to toss up a quick little thing about what's going on. I posted a vlog on my YouTube channel discussing essentially the same thing, but I know not everyone follows our goings-on outside of TopShelf, and BCTS is and will always be my first home, so ya'll deserve the long, untruncated version (Well, untruncated apart from my father's health stuff because I didn't want to spam up the Blog section every time a doctor tells us "I don't know what we're dealing with" :-P)

Overall, moving will be a positive thing. Yes, I'm still living with my elderly parents right now, but we're getting out of the damned country and back to civilization, rather than ten miles from the nearest gas station.

Our new neighbors will be amazing, too: two of my favorite high school teachers on either side. This could only be better if one of them was the English teacher that inspired my love of writing.

Once things settle down I have SO much writing I want to do. I have a clear direction for Becoming Robin Book 4 now. I'm waiting to see how Book 1 does before I give the okay for (a likely heavily edited version of) Book 2. I don't have access to sales numbers directly, but I've been informed by Miss Piper and Miss Joyce that it's selling, so :-)

ANYway! Love you all, and thank you all SO MUCH for your love, support, and most of all, your patience!

Following

Or is that stalking? I see references like yours to activity on FB or other places, but its kinda hard to follow people on other sites without knowing they are there to begin with, or what they go by name wise. As well, some people may wish to keep some aspects of their lives a little more private.

So I'm thinking that those of you that have like FB accounts you don't mind any of us visiting then a little selfpromotion is a good idea. Every now and then, like in a blog post, you should mention you frequent other sites and maybe even give links to. Purely a voluntarily thing.

Sorry to hear about your father, that purely-d sucks!
