It's with a grateful heart that I report,

that Grover and Understanding Spouse have arrived safely in Utah and are recovering from a trip fraught with danger. U.S. starts her new job Tuesday and Grover will be back in the groove writing as soon as they get settled into their new domicile.

They got waylaid by snow in Denver over Friday and part of Saturday and, being from much warmer climes, they didn't want to risk life and limb trying to navigate the icy roads. I can't say I blame them.

Anyway, alls well that ends well and I can breathe again, knowing that my family of the heart is safe at home.

Happy to know Grover and spouse was intelligent enough to NOT go snowboarding in a car. I was NAS Corpus Christi in..., well, I was there. We received two inches of snow. The majority had never seen snow much less drive on it. The results were predictable. They played Bumper Cars.
Can't believe I use to snap the steering wheel over, hit the gas, and do doughnuts for two blocks down main street when I was in high school. Not as bad as it sounds. Only vehicle out there was me. Snow and ice driving isn't for most people. On a farm, vehicles move or livestock don't get milked or fed. We dug out many winters and learned through experience.
God we were young and foolish at one time. Only part missing now is young.
Have fun with life, its too short to take seriously
