Maybe I need to clarify the above

Keep it friendly means consider the feelings of other people. If you want to complain about what you see is poor editing in a story, be respectful and recognize that this is a hobby site and the stories here are free. It also means a public complaint about an unseen class of people on BC is probably not going to be considered friendly. See Rule Two and Three.

Give the benefit of the doubt means if you want to complain about what you see as antagonistic comments, be sure that the person you think is attacking you is not trying to be friendly and helpful and complimentary in the main. Constructive criticism can always be ignored. Truly abusive criticism should be reported to me as there are things I can do. See Rule One and Three.

It's not about you means that when someone complains to you, remember that the complaint is about them, not about you. Seriously, ninety-eight percent of complaining is just about looking for reaction and attention and not really about the object of the complaint. See Rule One and Two.

Hugs to all,
Erin

= Give everyone the benefit of the doubt because certainty is a fragile thing that can be shattered by one overlooked fact.
