Well. it seems that several people are having that kind of a weekend, so I might as well throw another log on the fire.n I spent a good portion of early Sat. morning in the local ER. When it was all done with it seems I had a rip-roaring infection so they put me on a fresh bottle of saline to which they added a metric shitload of antibiotics and a hypo of morphine. While the antibiotics are probably the key to my long term health the morphine sure was nice!

When I "walked" in I was doubled over at the waist, standing up straight was impossible.. When I left I was upright and feeling good. Of course the nurse made it plain that I needed to call somebody to pick me up as I was in no condition to drive after the morphine. I of course readily agreed and we both laughed at the early wake-up call my friend would be getting. I then left the ER, walked around to where I'd parked my truck, hopped in and headed home. I was a bad boy! ;-)

Then, just for the cherry on top I got a call from a TV station that I'd never even worked for before, they were looking for a couple of videographers for Sunday as the weather looks a bit dicey. I apologized and turned them down.l Could have used the money but I just wasn't feeling up to it.
