To all who remember we veterans on this day.

This Day, like many others, my thoughts turn to my comrades in arms - both those still with us, as well as those who are gone but never forgotten. I miss you guys. Save me a seat at the bar for I will be along soon enough. You'll finally get to see me in a skirt guys.

I love you all. Watch over them for me until I get there Guns.

Absent comrades.

Salute to all

I was unable to serve due to health issues but grew up with dozens of veterans as family, mentors and family friends. I am proud to have known them all.

RIP Bro-in-law USMC early 80s and Dad US Army/Army National Guard '59-62.

I'm told STFU more times in a day than most people get told in a lifetime

Thanks to all

It doesn't matter if your war was cold or hot, you stepped forward not knowing what service would be required.

sorry for being late on this,

sorry for being late on this, was at a very special funeral on Veterans Day in Richmond, KY. First police officer killed in the line of duty since 1751 in Richmond. Needless to say his funeral was a VERY BIG DEAL. As a retired AF cop and a retired civilian LEO, had to attend. Plus, it turned out the officer Daniel Ellis was a friend of my youngest son from college; the woman who was the robbery victim whom the officer responded to, was the Kindergarten teacher of my grandson; and the officer's wife is also a friend of my son from college. Hits pretty close to home sometimes.
