For those that are wondering what's going on with Jess. Here's the update. Currently she is having problems with the power going out due to the weather, so it may be a while before she posts anything.   At anytime over a million trucks are professionally driven on the highways and by-ways of America. Carrying everything from acid to yachts. Not all loads are so innocuous. Some are precious and some are out-right lethal. For loads that are deemed dangerous or valuable to be referred to as High-Security, special trucks are used. Trucks that look so normal, one would never guess it from any other. Trucks that run in secret, apart from their company, called Ghost Fleets. Others have no markings at all, and are specially modified. One such company that specializes in High-Security Loads; Phantom Lines....

Scammer call

I just got off the phone and I'm very happy. Every now and then I get a call from an number with identity concealed. The call is always made by a person of middle-eatern or far-eastern origin. The accent sounds indigenous to India. These persons call and claim they are with Windows or MicroSoft. (Yes, I said that correctly. They allude to Windows being a separate entity.) Well I have been friends with a person that actually does work for MicroSoft in Seattle and verified that the callers are scammers. Now I do all I can to frustrate them on the phone. Today was a new personal best.

I have DishNetwork so I get The Movie Channel(west) ch-329. At 3:30 p.m. CDT there is a movie coming on titled Trinidad and the synopsis says its about Marcie Bower. This was produced in 2008 but I've never seen it. I do know that Dr. Bower has moved her practice to the outskirts of San Francisco but still has some administrative aspects still in Trinidad. Or so I've heard.

The Nightmare Rider

I regret to say Chapter 19 of The Nightmare Rider will not be ready to post until next week on friday. Sorry folks, sometimes interference comes into play and getting back into a world and on track becomes an issue. Some of the interference is RL and some is simply personal perspective. With these being the final two chapters I want to ensure they are indeed quality work. My apologies for the disappointment but I don't want to just rush forward to satisfy a self-imposed deadline.

the start of the season

Just to let everybody know. Today, June 1st, is the start of Hurricane season here in the states. There is speculation that this season may be quite active. So for all along the gulf and east coasts set aside time to ensure you are prepared. If your community is ordered to evacuate; DO SO. Take no chances and never underestimate the storms.
