Alex's Adventures in a Land of Wonder

This is a complete story in four chapters, but I have left it open so that maybe one day, it can be added to with further adventures...

This story is highly sexually charged, at least in the first chapter, so you have been warned.

Multi-part stories

This section contains all those stories that are too long and drawn out to stand alone as solos and have been written over multiple parts, chapter, episodes or whatever else you'd like to call them...

Before you rush off though, I would like to warn you that The Sight and Second Sight are in the process of being rewritten. This is because when I tried to continue Second Sight, I couldn't remember what was going on and what had happened before. So I ended up rereading the whole lot and like the idiot I am, I also started noodling; fiddling with the existing chapters and before I knew where I was, I had changed them both to such a degree that it would no longer have been possible to update each individual episode ... we were looking at replacing everything from one end to the other.

I wanted to take these older versions down or unpub them, but it was suggested that both should be left up side-by-side. So be aware, the story is incomplete, but will be just as soon as I can finish the new version.

This will be posted chapter by chapter at regular intervals until the whole novel has been uploaded to this site, at which point it will be published for Kindle. However, nothing of the new version will be published or posted until such time as it is complete and I've stopped picking at it.

Just thought you'd like to know.

Somebody once said that this couldn’t happen by accident, but then I suppose that all depends upon the circumstances of the accident doesn’t it?

I’ve looked up the definition of the word ‘accident’, and according to the information I’ve found, it goes as follows:

An undesirable or unfortunate event that occurs unintentionally and usually results in harm, injury, damage, loss, casualty or mishap.

Stories and Stuff

Having written quite a number of stories, I was glad when Puddintaine put together the start of some organisation for me and I have further extended that to separate the multi-chapter stories from the solos and verse.

I hope this doesn't make things too unwieldy, so if this doesn't work as you hope it should, then please let me know.

Long time, no write

Well hi.

It's been a long while since I wrote anything and for the first time in all that time, I hope I've actually got something on the go that I can post. Honestly, I'm missing the feedback and the kudos.

I can't say how far through I am, but as much as it pains me, I'm glad I didn't do what I'd done before, trying to make a series on the fly and finding myself up the creek without a paddle. This one, I promised wouldn't go up in parts until I'd actually finished it.

It's all pants

For those not English, "Pants" is not only a reference to underwear — usually men's — but can also can mean: awful or nasty, not pleasant at all.

Today was pants because of pants.

Now, those who know me — although it's been so long since I last posted anything, I may now be no more than a dim and distant memory — I'm not trans. I got into writing TG fiction many years ago because of someone I met at work, but now here's the strange thing about life. I now live in France, where my name sounds like Nicola and because Pen and I are now married, I am her Marie — go figure.

Family's not what it's cracked up to be...

I'm posting this because I know how many of you out there have issues with their families.

Earlier this week, my Mum died. It was only last year that she had to lose a leg because of the complications her ulcerated leg was causing the rest of her body and well being.

We lost contact several months ago when her computer died (or something went wrong with it) and then we had to change cell-phone providers because Virgin stopped doing pay and go. After that, we couldn't even text.

E-book download scam

I was searching through Google today, when I came across this web page - http://acnapo.ru/hebaxeq.pdf

It was advertising my book A Witch in Time, but although the download wasn’t available, it actually directed me to your Playster, while the comments seemed to point to another story entirely available through free-ebooks.net.

I would hope this is nothing to do with Playster and being a bit of a geek, I looked up the owner of the site my book was being adverstised on, on Whois.

Adding stories on Kindle

Just a quick few lines to ask those who have uploaded stuff to Amazon for Kindle how they got the TG or LGBT.

I have tried, but sadly I appear to have been unsuccessful in finding it in the categories. Amazon are a little tight on categories and tags, so if anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks peeps,

A very real transgender story

As most of you know, I am not TG in any respect, although I do seem to write a lot on the subject. I probably don't write as much, or as often as I should and my experience of TG matters comes from being on the outside, not the inside - which could be termed as a disadvantage.

My experience just got a little deeper recently however, and I would like to share that experience with you all with a little account here that I have just posted.

Firstly, a big thank you

I received my first cheque for A Witch In Time last week and it made my day ... or rather my lifetime. I never expected to sell as many copies as I have and whilst it wouldn't make literary news anywhere but in my household, it's really put a smile on my face and Penny's too!

I know I have all of you out there to thank for that, so, thank you all!!

I have plans to release more books into 'E' format and hope those are as well received as this one has been.

The curious case of moving to France

Now anyone who knows me, knows that I am not TG. I just feel I understand what those who are go through. I know my work isn't the most popular, but it's been read often and most of the comments have been positive. I'm obviously on the right track at least.

Penny of course is more than a little uncomfortable with this, but accepts that she may not like the subjects I have chosen to write about but is comfortable that I'm not going to start wearing her clothes or spending the weekends 'en-femme', demanding to be called Susan or something similar.

A British on-line e-pub site anyone?

I wonder whether there are any peeps out there who have published through Amazon's Kindle facility only to discover that because they are British citizens, they have become subject to a 30% withholding of royalties because of American tax laws - the bastards!

Yes you can be reimbursed, but not before you jump through hoops and pay some exorbitant amount to legal notaries in order to prove that you're not some tax-dodging Yank out to save the few measly bucks you've made from selling your e-book on-line.

Long time no see

Hi chaps and chapesses. It's been a while and I have to admit, I'm really embarrassed for not having accosted you with something for ages, but I just don't seem to be able to concentrate the way I did. Not to harp on about it, but the car accident really did something to me and ever since, I've had the devil's own job writing.

I've managed a couple of blogs and started ... well, I've tried to start many story ideas that have just wound up going round in ever-decreasing edits until I stop, thoroughly disheartened that I can't get anything together.

We're away to France and I've lost my buttons

Okay so we're off on Sunday for a week in France at our house.

Please try and be good boys and girls while I'm gone.

No flame wars and no pissing Erin off or I'll be sorely vexed.

Jessica.jpg I don't just look it, I can get mightily mean when I have to. I just can't run too fast in these heels.

PS

Where did my buttons go?

I had some, but now I have hardly any. If you see any floating about looking lost, please send them back - I didn't have that many to begin with.
