He ran towards the hall, but it was still packed with kids going in both directions, so instead of fighting the crowds, he ran for the playground, shoving his way through the crowd. He knew he could make it past one of the wings and make a bee line for his classroom. As he passed some of the seventh grade room, he barreled into someone. Both kids hit the ground, the lager one grabbing at him.

“Troy?” His brother said. “Who the hell you running from?”

Bruce and Frankie came running around the corner and they slid to a stop. “Well if it isn't Troy's big sister.”

“Back off Bruce.” Vance said, getting to his feet and putting Troy behind him.

“Isn't that cute, big sisters is protecting little sister.” Bruce sneered at them. “Guess we'll kick both of your asses.”

I slipped on my pyjamas and admired my newly hairless body dressed in the pale pink satin chemise that my imagination had conjured when Jen described hers earlier. I actually looked and felt quite feminine for a change, and enjoyed the experience of padding about the hall in my nightie and bunny slippers before heading off to bed for an early night.

I have summoned up courage to go back to the original story, originally published here on Big Closet which was written from the heart with no planning at all. Readers’ comments were helpful all through, so now, I have tried to develop the characters to be the real life people that they are through the events that really took place in the early part of the tale. The fantasy parts which make the second half will be revised and embellished. I hope you like it!

“Vance, please just go.” Tracy pleaded.

“That's a great idea!” His wicked grin got bigger. “I'll go....and call Bruce and Frankie. They'd love to hear this!”

“Please don't.” She began to make her way down the steps, tears began to race down her cheeks. “Don't tell anyone.”

“Too late for that, Fag. It's all your fault anyway.” Vance turned and ran out of the yard as Tracy made it to the bottom step. She fell to her knees and began crying hard.

When he heard Vance's voice Peter had already been moving to the door, But the older boy was gone by time he got to her side. Modine stepped out and looked around for trouble, concern on her face. “Tracy, what happened.”

“Vance just seen her.” Peter replied, helping Tracy to her feet. “He's going to call his punk friends.”

Please note, there is a few harsh words in here so I left the rating at PG15. It also has Petticoat Punishment

It didn’t seem to be a problem for Kate and she seemed OK and she asked me to stay and have something to eat together if I liked since she didn’t eat much if she stayed in alone. I got up this morning to the news that a carbomb exploded in Central Oslo, Norway. Several people are reported killed, many injured and I heard a little while ago that people in the Norwegian Govt. Building (where the carbomb was set off) may be trapped inside.And I just got word from my friends in Norway that a man dressed in a police uniform attacked a youthcamp south of Oslo. The man opened fire with a machine gun, and reports say at least four youths may have been killed.

I've spoken with my family in Oslo and Thank God they are all safe and sound. But I'm still shaken and crying.

In response to Melanie Ezell's lesser know Other Big Closet Ultimately Forgettable Challenge — The longest and most tedious introduction/disclaimer ever.

Back in the days when I used to teach, there was a two week break where I needed to switch off completely from anything to do with classrooms and books and revolting children (they aren't all revolting you understand, just enough to make your life miserable), so I stayed in bed (yes I know it's disgusting, and at my age too. What kind of example is that for the kids?) and wrote the first 70k words of this before running out of time and imagination.

A while ago, I sent it to Wren Phoenix for editing/proofing, and she's been prodding me regularly since to finish it and post it. It's an early effort so I'm going to read through and rewrite — where necessary — as I post (hopefully every one to two days). When I reach the end of what's written, things may slow down a bit.

As ever, resemblance of characters in the story to people in real life is purely co-incidental as well as extremely unlikely, since the story is set in a parallel universe where everything is pretty much as it is here, except for matters relating to the legal profession and mental health care, and quite possibly the way hypnotism works. Which is another way of saying that I don't know how things work in our world and I'm too lazy and being paid too little to do research, so I made stuff up.

Despite that, I hope you enjoy...
