Trying out something new: stories with pictures

I decided to try out something new - adding pictures to my story: I modified my last posted story, "Teacup Roses, Guitars, a Bus Pass and a Mistaken Identity: A Danny Fairchild Story."

So if you wanna check it out...

Spacing etc. are still not perfect, but this is my first story with pictures. So I hope you guys'll give me a little slack.

This little interlude is set somewhere in the middle of the events of Chapter 8 of the still unfinished story, “Danny.” This does not materially contribute to that story, but is more like “a day in the life” type of story of the main character, Danny. Seated a few aisles from the back of the church was Trey and his mother. Trey, well, he looked kind of jealous. I looked back and smiled.

"Who is that?" Tucker asked.

"My boyfriend," I whispered back. "I don't think he's thrilled my arm is around another boy's."

Hey Big Closet. Those of you reading my story, thank you. I've done this a couple of times but, sometimes after posting, someone I know comes to the site and checks out my work, and some of your guys. and more often than not I have to pull the story off the site, make some drastic tweaks to certain chapters that I pull, and re-add it. My deadline for retrieving my belongings has been rather suddenly shortened from the end of January to MONDAY (December 28th, 2009) -- is there anyone in that area or close enough that would be willing to retrieve said belongings and store them for a month so I have time to mount an expedition?

Tomorrow is Christmas, the day in which a large portion of Christianity has chosen to celebrate the birth of Jesus of Nazareth more than 2000 years ago, despite the fact that from the best evidence, He was likely born in early March. :) But it is a celebration, not an anniversary, and the date was chosen to coincide with other celebrations of renewal and new hope.

Survivor's guilt?

I assume that there is a huge diversity of population here. It seems logical to me that there are or have been every kind of male here from corporate presidents, to Doctors, to Electricians (GAH, that just ruins the neighborhood ! :)) , to men in prison and I know at least two shrinks.

So far as I know, information about any statistical comonalities regarding T folk has not been published, though I have casual knowlege of some traits that we seem to have in common, perhaps.

I am confused about the readers comments

I was delighted by the reaction and the comments to my first story, A boys letter. I wanted to see how Fictionmania readers would accept it and I was happy that it got 9. Most of them just written to say it depressed them lol. Well at least they bothered to tell me

So that inspired me to write a second one, to get the boy out. That got some comments here but at FM. well only one responded and I thought that many who were depressed by the sad story would be happy for the second. I dont know, I guess they may be. Now I am confused
But thanks to those that commented here :)

As I woke up the next morning I didn’t know where to turn. I had serious misgivings about my choices so far. I was getting involved, and with that come a price, vulnerability.
