An Antarctican reply
As an Antarctican I see you picture concept as absolutely incorrect. Polar ears and penquins do not share the same polar areas. Polar bears are indigenous to the Arctic region while the penquin is indigenous only to the Antarctic region.
I've been to both poles, one of a relative small population. I used to think penquins and polar bears from the cartoon Chilly Willie the penguin
Not knocking the picture i get a great sense of looming doom once those cymbols connect. and laugh and laugh. It makes me smile.

The North Pole has bears! Also, wolves and foxes (well, not out on the ice). At the South Pole, besides recent intruders like humans and dogs, there are no land animals as fast :) as penguins.
