Independent episode in a series, see Bashful's "Disclaimer" series for an example or Emma Smith's Dr. Fruitcake stories. A story set in one of the universes might also be considered an episode, but that's sort of a given with being in a universe so you could use one of the other length designations if you like. Which you could do anyway, marking something as part of a series is convenient but should not be necessary.
