Chapter 5 ~ One More Time

The Story So Far:

Gail and Leo are aliens who crash on earth. Neither Aunt Emma, who found them and took them in, nor anyone else can tell, since they are disguised as humans. Barry finds an invisibility device and sets off another device that turns Gail's crush, Kevin into a Silurian which is another kind of alien. Leo catches Barry turning into a Silurian and puts him in stasis. Gail lets Kevin go free to go home to his transgirl sister Linda. Kevin finds he can do magic when he turns Linda into a born girl. Gail impersonates an angel and frightens Kevin and Linda into keeping quiet and Kevin quitting using magic. Gail and Leo fill in Aunt Emma on the whole mess. Emma has Gail and Leo turn her into a Silurian to try to fix things.

Part 6

“So we’re officially in Ireland?” Sarah asked as they made their way through Belfast International Airport. She couldn’t help looking around, as though expecting a leprechaun to jump out at her. Katelyn giggled, wrapping an arm around her.

“Well I do see something green,” she teased, as if she knew what Sarah was thinking. “Check out the hair on that punk chick over there.”

Part Two begins with our heroine leaving the gathering at the family farm after receiving a startling offer and returning to her mountain hideout to something even more startling. Due to that terrible and never to be sufficiently damned author and her penchant for reading stories instead of writing them, it has been a while between chapters so I would recommend a refresher but I swear the next ones will be coming on a more or less weekly basis going forward.

The idea for this story came from a short, inspirational email that was shared with me a few years ago. I thought the message behind it was quite lovely and wanted to somehow turn it into a story to share with everyone. It took almost two years for a story to develop where I could use it in a way to honor the beauty it was written in. If I knew of the original author, I would like to include them...but as with much that is passed around in cyberspace, they are unknown. All I can do is say, thank you for the inspiration...I only hope my story does justice to your beautiful, and uplifting message.

The spur of the moment decision to steal some money led me to a foreign country, and a future I could never have imagined in my wildest dreams.
