I smiled and quickly turned away.
It's not easy singing sad songs
But still the easiest way I have to say.

I giggled as I raised the spinning mower blade all the way up and put it into forward. In front of me the Gardener laid vainly trying to roll out of the way. He wouldn’t make it. Absolutely amazing the poisons found in ordinary household products. The Modeling ContractSubmitted by hopeeternalreigns on Sun, 2012/02/05 - 4:41pmMy story has a blurb and this is it. I believe that story blurbs should lure the reader into a false sense of urgency to read the story that follows. This urgency should be SO strong that NOT reading the following story becomes a total impossibility. So without further delay; I present the story you have all be WAITING for. To Start A NewSubmitted by lesleycharles on Sun, 2012/02/05 - 9:36amI have a very momentous decision to make. Should I go on living the lie I am living now and be what my family and society expects me to be or should I start my life anew and be who I know I really am. Dark Night of the SoulSubmitted by cyclist on Sat, 2012/02/04 - 4:40pmShe sat on the steps just upstream of the bridge. Two hours now, as the Ouse roiled and surged round the old stone and debris span in the eddies. Soon, perhaps, the flood markers in the pub downstream would need another notch, and the gardens to her right would be submerged. Winter rains, winter floods, who gave a shit, really? All part of a world she had tried to engage with, that had spurned every attempt she had made to join. The light was fading slowly on a miserably grey and washed out February afternoon, and as it went, so would she. There was only so much strength given to a person, she thought, and when that was gone, so were they. the lighthouse...Submitted by Andrea Lena DiMaggio on Sat, 2012/02/04 - 1:40pm
The glow of the laptop cast an eerie pall on Jeremy Armetta’s face. He peered at the screen and shook his head, tears streaming down his cheeks. Ironic that illumination gained such a painful meaning, but ultimately was to his benefit. He looked down at the book he had open in front of him next to his laptop and shrugged his shoulders. Whoever said that always being in the ‘right’ was a good thing didn’t know what they were talking about. He closed the book and shut the laptop before turning back toward the bed where his wife slept. What she had told him wasn’t the right thing to do as far as he knew but what she said to him still felt right…. ”Call our Son.” No Tidy Way To Eat A Cream CakeSubmitted by Angharad on Sat, 2012/02/04 - 6:36am

By Bailey Summers *An Evanescence side story. Notification ServiceSubmitted by dorothycolleen on Mon, 2011/10/03 - 4:01pmNotification Service In every age, in every war, there have been casualties. And along with casualties, there are the loved ones left behind. In recent times, there has been a recognition that those families need help when the news is brought to them of the loss of the one they loved, and so each conflict had its own way to give the sad news, and help the families pick up the pieces afterwards, and have made a service to meet that need. And now, with a new war waging, that service is needed again. The fact that the war is secret, that neither side is an official combatant, and that the casualties are mostly civilians is not a concern to that service. They are needed, and so they are on duty, for as long as the war lasts..... A Change in My Life’Submitted by JulieDCole on Mon, 2011/08/15 - 6:52pm

How insidious is evil? Can it become genetic? Can good be genetic? Where does that leave freedom of choice? What Light Through Yonder Shadow... - Act 2; 2Submitted by Cliff on Tue, 2011/06/28 - 12:45am![]() ![]() ![]() How insidious is evil? Can it become genetic? Can good be genetic? Where does that leave freedom of choice? The last few scenes had a lot of jumping around in order to get characters into play. Now I will take a longer period of time on each character. Please do not get upset if you miss an installment with a certain character. I'm getting a lot of people reading this but very few comments . I get most of my idea from the things that happen around me. Maybe if you comment I'll get a new one. What Light Through Yonder Shadow... - Act 2; 1Submitted by Cliff on Tue, 2011/06/28 - 12:40am
