Jacqui and Me - Chapter 9

Jacqui and Me - Chapter 9
By Julie D Cole

For several minutes I just tried to catch my breath. I’d never experienced anything like this in all my life. I wanted to pinch myself in case I was dreaming. Jacs just lay beside me leaning on her elbow playing with my hair. She removed the band holding it into a pony-tail and used her fingers as a comb to bring it forward over my ears.

‘Sorry that I got you excited so quickly but let’s see if you are ready again soon. Would you like to clean up a little bit and maybe we can come back to bed soft and refreshed?’

Lady Margrette Ansbach-Stewart,

I regret the haste and poor quality of this note written with a pencil upon scrap paper but needs as must be.

Read this as far away from Coleen as fortune permits. If Coleen's talents are anything like mine she might be able to see though you eyes or overhear you read it out loud if you are at all near her room.

The Dead Kid Returns chapter 8: The House of Grief

Someone once said,”Crying is all right in its own way while it lasts. But you have to stop sooner or later, and then you still have to decide what to do.” Once Bethany had cried for a while, she realized the truth of that statement.

She resolved that no matter what it took, she’d help her friend recover from whatever had happened to her to make her what she was.

If only she could figure out how.

“Honey?”

Colin glanced up. He calmed his mind, preparing himself for what was to come. He was very familiar with the syrupy, slightly wheedling tone Dee was using. She wanted something and didn’t want him to realize he was being manipulated. She would be mortified and loudly deny she ever did such a thing if he were to make the mistake of mentioning it to her.

Early in the morning, Cynthia drove Jamie to Bowie so she could spend December 26, 27, and 28 fulfilling her pre-dance promise to return to the Charm School Inc. Academy. Started with a Prom Dress - Part Four

By Jessica C

PREVIOUSLY
Dawn and Aunt Susan took me to get me some more clothes and if possible I would stay with them and finish the school year. Dawn was thrilled that Danica was to continue and wanted me to finish the school year with her. Shopping ended with a stop to get cosmetics and skin and hair care items. I was surprised that supportive in getting what I needed.

I don't understand.

I don't understand.

Why are mommy and daddy so mad at me?

I did nothing wrong all I did was dress up in pretty clothes like all the other girls do. I even feel pretty.

All the other girls and myself had so much fun today prancing and dancing in our skirts. Even our teacher thought we were all so pretty.

But why was Daddy so mad? Why did he yell at me for dressing like the girl I am? I just don't understand.

I can hear him and mommy arguing in their bedroom. I do not understand what freak means.

Cider Without Roses 37

CHAPTER 37
We were staying, of course, in Thierry’s hotel, and this time it was as proper guests, as we had our earnings now. I did realise that our bills were not as they would have been for the other guests, but then I felt we were more friends than customers. So typical; we ate that first evening on the terrace, looking at the sea, with lemon candles burning to keep the other insects away as the cigalles chanted in the branches around us, and Maman, she could not keep away from the kitchen.

The New Girl in My Life

My name is Jeff but for years now and then I get these compulsions to see myself as a girl. It has become a growing ongoing tension between me and my parents that was supposed to be a thing of the past. It was two weeks before school let out for Christmas break, and I had an urge to be sick at school. I worked myself up to be sick so I could get sent home from school. I had weeks ago found some clothes a friend was throwing out and I had taken them, without anyone knowing but not yet had a chance to try them on.
