Cleaning

I what to know who makes up the rules, and when I find her I want her to change them, now! It may come as a shock to you, but life just ain't fair. With my new job I am living in a two room apartment all by myself on weekdays. My wife is in school two hours away from my apartment, which is two hours away from our (supposedly permanent) home, and we navigate from node to node on this triangular route each weekend. I thought life was supposed to get more stable when you hit your forties!

The Lokian Way - Part 14 - Hitting Bottom

The Bra Museum

I hate Philadelphia. Well, maybe that's a bit too harsh. I hated living in Philadelphia. I took a job that made me move to Philadelphia once and lasted precisely one and a half weeks before I ran screaming back to my rural home and continued unemployment. But perhaps I was a bit hasty, for now it seems the enlightened curators of the Museum of Art there have declared my favorite fetish to be a legitimate subject of cultural study.

A Change Of Pace - Part 2

A Change Of Pace – Part 2
By Barbara Lynn Terry

Chapter 1 – And so it begins.

My name is Donald Edward Johnston. I am nineteen years old. I graduated from high school last year. I was still looking for work. So far, I have not found one place that would hire an inexperienced young man like me.

The only real option I have is working for a fast food place. I do have a driver’s license, maybe I could deliver pizza. I do need to find a job. Next semester, I will be going to college. But, in the meantime, I need a job. The problem is, where am I going to find work?

Love & Supernova 0 - How It All Started

Snapshot_x.jpg

Only the best bait will catch the biggest fish (ancient saying).

How could anyone settle near a star that will soon go supernova? How was it possible to convince millions of people to go there and start a new life? Had they no idea that soon nothing but ashes will remain of them?

The Things we do for Love - Part 3

I debated and dithered for several days about taking the next step. Jo, to her credit didn’t push me. I racked my brains to find a reason why I shouldn’t do this. I did a lot of investigations on the internet. Some directions it took in me were frankly… odd to say the least.

Bearded Crossdressers?

OK, I will grant you are an exceptionally tolerant and forgiving person. After all you're a crossdresser (or at least involved positively with one if you're reading this) and you can probably stand and deliver a fifteen to twenty minute lecture on how crossdressers should be respected, and how it doesn't really matter what you're wearing, you should be treated with respect. Maybe you're one of the activists, willing standing up before God and all Her children in a dress to prove your point.

Kayda 9 - Crying for a Dream

A Whateley Academy Adventure

Kayda 9: Crying for a Dream

by ElrodW

Part 1

On a night as I lay sleeping, in a dream I saw the shore of a distant land where
Promise lay in wait
And I heard the sound of voices of a million hungry souls
Now it comes to me to lead them to the gate

But I am just a man, not worthy of this plan
With a strength that's not my own,
I must rise

And I...will bear the light, (and the vision leads me onward)
That blind....men have their sight

Hatbox Funds Needed

We've paid our current bills and the Hatbox wallet is pretty empty. Another week will bring new bills of about $1000, so now would be a good time to send us a gift if you are planning to do so. We were able to order the new hardware with how much we had paid down our bills in the last year, but of course that now adds to our debt again.

But! This means in about two weeks or a bit more, we should be able to improve service here.

....Is you.

December 2017 Christmas Dreams Story Contest Entry

Not sure I'm doing this right... I fall upon the mercy of the site owners if I've screwed something up. Anyway, here it is, my rumored submission in the Christmas contest, written in the theme of a Christmas wish fulfilled. It ran a bit longer then I expected, but I think it's the better for it.

I hope you enjoy it.

Mother and Daughter, part 4

"See you tonight!" Janet said with a smile as Ellie, Kacey and Monique paid for their purchases and waved goodbye to her.

"Bye!" Ellie replied with a giggle that warmed Janet's heart.

It had been almost four months since Ellie had moved in with Janet, and in that time, a lot had changed for both women- mostly for the better.

Traps Are Delicious But They're Not For Cooking

trapsaredeliciousbuttheyarenotedible.jpg

Hi, I'm Rin. When the school I went to went bankrupt, I had to find another school to go to. The only choice left was a school that is so full and crowded, there's hardly any room to breathe. So with only one week left to change schools, I had to do something drastic. I picked the only other choice left, which is an all-girl's school. By the way, I'm a boy.

- This is the alternative route from the base story, Traps Are Delicious. But They're Not Edible is Shira's romance route. But They're Not For Cooking is Zara's romance route. Hope you enjoy this story. -

The famous words ‘I had a dream’ means many things to many people. My ‘I had a dream’ moments got me into trouble more than once when I was a teenager.

Alexa Chapter 32: Inclusion

Alexa and Jenny head to Florida to celebrate the holiday with the Thompson clan and attend Jenny's cousins wedding. The quiet week does not go as the couple had planned.

Freedom

Lucy stands before the statue she had heard stories about since she was a toddler by her mother before her death. She was supported by her crudely made crutches under her left arm as she just stood there and looked at the statue. Lucy couldn’t believe she was finally here looking at the statue. Her old tatter blood stain dress flutters in the light breeze as she just stands there and look-up at the creature in front of her. Tears slide down her cheek as she raises her right hand to touch the statue.

Blackmail!

The woman I was interviewing for a job at first gave me a very good impression. In person she confirmed her CV. Competent, decisive, with a no-nonsense getting things done attitude. Perhaps a bit aggressive but for the position in question that was not necessarily a problem. In fact everything went well until she noticed that I was wearing a bra. I should have known better. Never wear a colored bra under a white shirt, even if it’s the most exquisite turquoise.

Fall Guy Or Fall Girl?

Strange Attraction

Serina is stranded on a rundown station on a remote rim-world.
Desperate to get out of the system she pushes the freighter owner Flare to give her a job.
Everything is fine till Serina notices some changes within herself ...

Jugs

Charles Edward Fitzgerald, CEO of Jugs (America’s #4 casual dining restaurant) slammed his fist down on his desk. “What do you mean, you told them I would do their moronic show? I gave you very explicit instructions.”

His secretary Francesca shuddered. “I’m so sorry—sir,” she hastily added.

“Don’t apologize, just fix this!”
