Mr. Randolph had been teaching for many years, and had the privilege of working with some really great students during that time. The students that sat before him though were above most of them in his mind. Amy was absolutely going to be a stunning beauty as she grew up into high school… he was glad he wasn’t the girl’s father. Amazingly she had brains to go with that, something that was uncommonly rare in his experience. Nikki, though extremely short for her age, was going to be much the same. He was sure the boys were going to be going to great places too.

The most amazing thing to him, though, was that the other girl was the reason this group held together. Oh they would have been friends… but Tiffany seemed to be like a magnet these days that attracted some really great friends. ‘She attracted enemies too…’ he thought sadly to himself. The attack on her had been like a stab in the heart to most of her teachers; himself included.

’No, the most amazing thing isn’t that this girl didn’t grow up as one… it’s that she’s kept going through it all. No one has been able to stop her…’ He looked up at them as the group talked about their project. If anyone else came to him with the idea these kids had he would have told them it would be impossible… Tiffany seemed to break many of those odds though, and with her friends he was certain they would astound him again.

This is part 2 of "Not That Kind Of Guy" It's a stand-a-lone story, but you might enjoy it more if you read "Not That Kind Of Guy" first. Keep in mind, any subsequent stories will go by a different title.

This story takes place on 16-year-old John Butler's first day of summer vacation. His mother takes him to a salon so that he can look like her- a middle aged woman. It deals with his psychological anguish and tries to answer the question: What would it be like to be a fairly normal teenage boy and be thrown into a situation of having live out his fantasy of being a woman?

A story about a family with two boys aged 10 and 13, in which choice is a delusion and gender, an illusion. In the last chapter, Kirk openly and noisily shopped as a boy for clothes in the girls' department in order to distract the clerks from Blair's more furtive shopping expedition.

Chapter 4, Part 4 --- A Preacher’s Choice

Synopsis: 16 year old boy gets caught by his father while wearing his mother's clothes. This is a story about why he does the things he does and what happens to him as a result.

This chapter deals with Sally's recovery and 'coming out' as a transexual. Emotional issues are addressed.

I could feel my cheeks burning red again. “I’m not a damsel!” This guy clearly needed glasses. His stupid mop of dirty black hair was probably hiding a lobotomy scar.

“What!? I didn’t mean you!” He looked as outraged as I did. He pointed to Lara as he knelt down to pick up the rest of her books.

Our stay in New York lasted a little longer than Grandmama planned.

The U.S. Senate opened hearings on the sinking just a day after we arrived. Because of Grandmama's position, she was among the passengers asked to testify.

Rachel and I wept when we saw her, standing tall and green and lit up.

I had seen the Statue of Liberty once before. We passed her on the Mauretania on our way to Europe a month before.

"You'll be reunited with your mom and sisters, too," Rachel said reassuringly.

I nodded. But I also had to fight back the tears.

Father Just Doesn't Get It

It reminded me a little bit of a time when my father took me to the horse races. People were cheering loudly at the track that day.But this was a little different. Many in the crowd were cheering for joy. Some were shouting out of disgust because their horses lost.

The people we were hearing now were screaming for their very lives. It was horrifying. And it seemed to get louder after the Titanic sank.
