About a war raging between aliens rebels and humans. The protagonist is part of an infomase group in which on the way to retrieve a weapon the protagonist of the group is hurt in a way that cause his body to turn into a kind of adapting alien body. He is riding in the back of a truck with his friends. Knocks them out and escapes the truck and goes on to kill indescribably before a nuke kills everyone but the protagonist.
I dont know the name and cant find it.

it is not either of those two based on the description given.
Shepherd Moon the protagonist is not involved in a land based nuke detonation. or do they kill their friends.
And it is not the Death Dealer's Saga since the main character does not go on a killing spree of her friends either.
