I'm going to have to go in and kill the table and re-install.

Maybe tonight.

Do you use

A wooden gun to kill tables? ;-)

Okay, it's done. Persistent login has been killed and resurrected and should work now, though everyone will probably have to login and check the box again.

So it wasn't me?

You mean it wasn't just my computer acting up?

I was the same as everyone else? I'm not a special case?

I feel a loss somehow.

Karen, I think you kill a wooden table by driving a vampire through it.

peg?

John, would you peg it's legs first? So that it won't get away?

A.A.

Peg O my heart, I love you!

How did Erin's blog on disappearing persistent logons degrade into bad vampire humor?

Peg? Peg legs?

It's a joke son. Listen to me when I'm speaking.

There, a belated Chicken joke, well Foghorn Leghorn at least.

Odd behaviour

I noticed it has you logged in twice...

Need details

Logout, and try to log back in. There should be a box to check. If you check that box, persistent login should work from there on out. There may be some problems with pages cached by ISPs, try whatever your browser uses to force a reload. If it still isn't working, post, PM or email me with details.

Hugs,
Erin

Details

I come to the BCTS home page, then click on Login/Register. I give it my User Name and password and click the Remember Me box, and it logs me in.

Then I quit the browser, come right back, and I'm logged off again. I'm on an iMac running Mac OS X 10.5 and using Safari as my browser.

Hope this helps! *hugs*

Who's your ISP?

my ISP is ...

... Verizon. *smile*

You're welcome!

*hugs*

P.S. -- I have also had the same issue occur logging on through a Panera bread WiFi link, and repeatedly on my iPhone. So I'm not sure ISP is a factor.

Good

I tried something else, I'm glad it worked. :)

No joy here either

Erin,

No joy here either. I log out log back in again, check the remember me box and the next time I load my browser I have to log back in again.

My browser is set to purge the cache everytime I shut it down. Normally I see a message that says you have one (or two) persistent login(s), I no longer see that message anymore when I go to My Account(?). BC/TS I allow to set permanent cookies, when I examine my cookie for bigclosetr.us there is a persistent login value withing the cookie.

Browser: Firefox
OS/Distro: Linux/openSuSE

Same version of each was working only a short while ago.

I hope this helps.
