Really? It's nearly the end of January already?

Family stuff and visiting people has taken up a lot of my time recently. Good news is, we got another session of Divine Blood in the can last night, so there should be a new Twin Tails soon. Otherwise, my new Sara story, Dissonance, and Fate and the Iron Tiger Part 6 is being worked on and moving towards inevitable, if slow, completion. Compounding that issue, I have to work on Thrythlind's new Divine Blood books and kick them out the door asap.

Bad news is, after visiting my grandmother, I have picked up a pretty bad sore throat and head cold. This may slow me down a bit but not completely. I have painkillers, vitamins and cough drops, so I should be good to sit in front of a computer and hack away at things.

Have a good one, everybody, look forward to what the new year brings. Assuming we survive.

I feel for you. I was hit

I feel for you. I was hit with something nasty with fever at Thanksgiving, and as I was finally getting over it, I was sick again at Christmas (spent most of four days asleep, and just now getting rid of the cough).

Glad you're doing better.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

Ugh

I was hit twice last year myself.

That is a rarity for me as usually I don’t get sick but once every two years.

Luckily I am pretty resistant to the current flu, H3N2, as I had the original of it in 1968.

Yes it does

But getting sick for at least a month is gaining resistance the hard way.

Having a vicious live virus knocking 7 bells out your immune system confers more permanent immunity.

I missed so much school, the school thought I had moved away.
