Synopsis: Lydia has encouraged her partner to cross dress at home when she was absent, with the intention of using hidden camera footage to blackmail him into obeying her desires. However, Peter had suspected she was up to something, and had made plans of his own...

Peter entered the living room, and was immediately ordered by his partner: "Sit down and watch this."

Lydia turned on the TV, pressed Play on the DVD's remote control.

Peter cringed as images of him cleaning the house in a pink maid's dress flashed by.

A few minutes later, Lydia pressed Stop on the remote control, then with a malicious grin turned to her partner.

"Now, you will obey me, and complete without hesitation every task I set you, otherwise copies of this DVD will be sent to your workmates. Do you understand? Now, go upstairs and get changed. I'm expecting visitors in half an hour and you're going to be serving them."

Exactly half an hour later, the doorbell went, and Peter, now looking every inch a natural female, dressed in a long skirt, top and mid-length wig, opened the door and let in three of Lydia's workmates, while putting his finger to his mouth and whispering "Don't say anything - all will be revealed later."

He then went into the kitchen and prepared five mugs of tea, before carrying them into the lounge. He avoided the stares of his partner, who was expecting him to be dressed quite differently and serving cups of tea from their bone china set.

Lydia was seething, but before she could open her mouth, Peter looked at her, and calmly stated: "Lydia - no. Let me explain. Just because I'm an introvert and crossdress, it does NOT mean I'm a pushover, a willing slave to your desires, or too stupid to suspect when someone's playing games with me."

"Bu.."

"No buts - hear me out." He then retreived a small memo pad covered in scribbles from the tray, and studied it while continuing.
"You've known I was a crossdresser since before we moved in together, but as you had problems with the concept, I reluctantly agreed to stop to allow what I thought was our love to grow. So when, three months ago, you announced out of the blue that you were happy for me to resume, as long as you weren't around, I was suspicious. My curiosity as to your motives was only enhanced when I saw some of the outfits you were ordering for me.

"At first, I did dress up in those parody maid costumes while I did the housework, but they neither reflected the type of clothes I prefer to wear, nor the image I wish to project when dressed up. I was anxious to know what your intentions were, but knew I wouldn't be able to extract it from you directly. If you were planning anything for me resembling the stories that abound on the internet, I would need to find out quickly, before your plan could come to fruition."

"Bu..."

"But how? I could have placed my own cameras around the house, but they wouldn't reveal your thoughts, or your actions outside these four walls. Considering how little time you've spent here recently, supposedly on late night meetings or weekend conferences, they wouldn't have revealed much at all!

"Knowing how chatty you are, I figured you'd probably share your tales with your colleagues at work. But they'd be very unlikely to share them with the male side of me, so my only chance was to ramp up enough courage to take my female side into public and ask them as a female friend of a friend.

"So after using size guides on the 'net to help measure myself, I very nervously bought a basic outfit from the supermarket, and a wig from an online store; before taking the courage to go out in public - first around the block, then to the corner shop, and eventually into town.

"So for the past month, on Friday nights when you thought I was at The Rose & Crown with my workmates, I, or rather Petra, the name I prefer to call myself when dressed, was at The Old Bank."

Author's note: Rose & Crown - traditional type pub, popular haunt of "The lads"; Old Bank - trendy wine bar, more popular with females.

"Lydia, as I suspected, you really couldn't resist bragging about your plans for me when at the office, and it was the hot gossip amongst Julie, Claire and Kim here - even if they didn't quite believe your tales. After the third Friday, I took the precaution of taking a small voice recorder. See, although I'm naturally an introvert, I'm not stupid. I found out you were playing games with me, and I could be just as capable of playing games with you.

"I think Julie, Claire and Kim can confirm that I am quite presentable in public, and that until about 10 minutes ago, they never connected the shy, demure Petra with your supposed 'plaything' Peter. That DVD must have been compiled in the first week of your games, because I notice there's no footage from when I stopped wearing that ridiculous costume. Releasing it would be of little consequence to me - it is always Peter that turns up to work, and Petra who comes out to play at night. My job isn't public facing, I'm not committing adultery, I'm not breaking any laws, and Petra isn't doing anything which in the slightest way impacts upon my job.

"Relationships should be built on trust, respect and understanding. You have demonstrated none of that. Tomorrow I intend to give our landlord his one month's notice, and start moving out."

Turning away from Lydia and to the three girls, he said:

"Girls, I don't know what Lydia was planning to show you tonight - definitely not this! I'm sorry if you feel I've abused your trust over the past few weeks, but I hope you'll still allow Petra to join your social group on Fridays. I might not be able to make next week though, as I'll still be sorting myself out."

Kim seemed to recover faster than the others, then tenatively replied "I've got a spare room..."

"Are you sure, Kim, after what I've just told you? Under these clothes, I am still a man, and don't wish to either stop dressing, or dress full time."

"Yeah, I mean I don't have much money left after paying the bills, and I've got the extra room, so if you don't mind helping out..."

"If you're absolutely sure - you don't have to - and as you know, I am a little different to most people!"

"Yes, I'm sure. I take it you won't mind the others popping in from time to time?"

"No - you've got your life to live and I've got mine. Just make sure if you invite anyone else around while I'm in, that they're aware of both Peter and Petra - I don't want you losing any friendships over me."

"OK", then as a wide grin appeared on her face, "now get over here and sit down before you keel over!"

"Yes miss! Now," looking over towards Julie and Claire, "Can you come across first thing tomorrow morning and help us hash out some form of contract - make it all legal and above board."

Julie looked at Claire, then Kim, then Petra, before replying "Err...OK. Do you need a hand with moving your stuff?"

He thought for a minute, then nodded. "We'll take my clothes over tonight, but sort the rest out later. I'd prefer to have company when visiting here again, just in case SHE," casting a glance over towards Lydia, "plans any more surprises. But let's take our drinks upstairs and finish them there, so SHE can ponder her mistakes in private."

As they left the room, he said quietly to them, "Thanks again for all your support tonight - I didn't know what to expect, and you've made it a lot easier for me."

This is my first effort at writing fiction for 15+ years, so please be gentle with your criticisms :)
I've added a Creative Commons license to it, which gives you permission to post it elsewhere, rehash it into something that makes more sense, extend it (in either direction), write a prequel (the events leading up to this vignette) or even a sequel (moving into Kim's and beyond). Just remember to credit me with writing the original. If you do feel the need to extend it, bear in mind Peter/Petra will probably take a while to further his (platonic!) relationship with the girls before even thinking about more intimate relationships - especially given his experience with Lyria...

...I would much rather you kept working at it and expanding it and growing it. I loved this, and I want more from you, dear heart, not less. Gentle...as a kitten up a tree..to quote an old song. Great start after a prolonged absence, but you must have been a fine writer then because you're a great writer now! Thanks for bringing this here, dear friend!

Prolonged absence

Actually, it's the first fiction I've written for pleasure - ever. School was generally directed writing - GCSE English included such "delights" as "Imagine you're Ralph from Lord of the Flies. 40 years after the events, you decide to write your memoirs...", rehearsing the play "Spring and Port Wine" (in which almost nothing happens), storyboarding an advert and studying First World War poets (Wilfred Owen, Siegfried Sassoon).

A level and beyond was mainly science - so the extent of my creative writing then was thinking up ways in which my experiments could have been improved (not difficult when you're studying Biology - so in addition to experimental error you can add half a dozen different ways the environment could have fouled up your results)

Skip forward five years, and my attempt at teaching - writing lesson evaluations (What went well? Good question...)

As for continuing this story...not in the immediate future. I only planned and plotted as far as where I got to, and there I had a definite end point in mind. Going further is like sailing into open water - who knows where it will end up...

I do have another short story in a completely different genre to post in a few days time, and I'm considering attempting a parody of a very old tale with an added TG twist...

Short sweet and not the expected tale of betrayal/forced fem.

Nice effort. Less dark and shorter but in a similar vein to one of Randalynn's great short stories about a bet between spouces taken too far.

Great first story. It was very well put together. I liked that Peter/Petra took the upper hand, and did so in a very lady like way.
He turned the tables, but was not cruel or demeaning.

Thanks!

When I started writing this, I initially thought of fighting CCTV with CCTV - but then quickly realised, as I mentioned in the story, that that strategy would only work if Lydia was bringing other partners home. I decided instead that Lydia would be the kind of character who would openly brag about what she was subjecting her partner to at work, which created the impetus for Peter to venture outside, overcome his fears of being 'read', and get some intelligence from Lydia's colleagues. Of course, the voice recorder could have been a bluff, a slightly risky insurance strategy for if the exposé didn't do the job on its own.

I certainly didn't ever conceive of Peter/Petra getting vengeful or violent on Lydia - it just wouldn't have fitted the character. Then having them has co-habiting partners in private rented accommodation enabled Peter to make a clean break at the end, without having nasty niggles like a mortgage or divorce to get in the way. It also rams home to Lydia her mistake - while Peter clears out immediately (courtesy of my last minute addition of Kim's offer of accommodation), Lydia is left in the house with 28 days to find alternative accommodation or negotiate a fresh lease with the landlord.

The Biter Bit! Ha ha !

I LOVED this one, as I bet a lot of readers did. I really get upset at tales in which a supposed trusted friend, lover or spouse blackmails a cross dressing or effeminate partner or friend into unspeakable things in a cruel and horrid fashion. I dont know why anyone writes them. Are they turned on by humiliation? Lydia was IMHO a Bitch.

It's a Big World

Many forced fem stories are based on the concept that the party being "forced" into femininity secretly loves every minute of what they're doing. The ethical consideration here would be the ability of the protagonist to reach such a decision. Obviously, forcing a child crosses many lines. The problem many TG authors have is young protagonist make good subjects for stories because it is believable that they can pass for a female with little effort -- while writing about a young person creates a moral dilemma because the scales aren't balanced when the evil aunt shoves an eight-year old into a dress.

And -- yes -- many people are turned on by humilitaion -- which is a valid reason to write or read a story.

It was so great how Peter/Petra turned the tables on Lydia's little scheme of humiliation. I think you should expand on the story and tell her story further. I would love to see if Lydia has a remorseful bone in her body.

PICT0013_1_0.jpg

Lydia

How far could Lydia's scheme have gone if Peter/Petra didn't turn the tables? I honestly don't know - but I'd like to think even then she wouldn't have gone as far as some antagonists in FF stories, who seem to delight in encouraging their husband to have "intimate relations" with any stranger they choose, with the mouth and anus frequently being used for tasks they weren't really designed for.

Could Lydia show remorse? I'd expect in the aftermath of this she'd make a great show of begging Peter/Petra to come back and promising she wouldn't do anything like that again (especially in the office, where she'd be heard by Peter/Petra's new friends), but could she do anything to prove to Peter/Petra she's genuinely sorry? I don't know - but it's clear Peter/Petra won't completely trust her for a long time. He might eventually agree to attend socials with her - as long as the other girls are present, but I doubt he'd ever take her back.

On the other hand, she may decide to cut her losses completely and see if she could arrange a transfer to another branch - after all, she's not exactly going to be Miss Popular in the office, since it will be known now that her tales weren't tall, but what she was actually doing to her partner before he turned the tables.

As for continuing the story, I didn't plot or plan beyond this point, so it would be a while before I could continue it if I decided to. If, however, anyone else has ideas on how it could continue - or, indeed, on how this situation arose in the first place, feel free to scribble them down and submit them :)

While this story is good

I can't help but wonder if Lydia is a sore loser. Seeing as she made this attempt in blackmail, she may have a belated fit of rage and attempt to use police to 'teach that freak a lesson'. Of course, it will only be so if she missed on the declaration that he WON'T come here without girls' company.

Aftermath

That's pretty much the reason for my last minute addition about moving to Kim's with both his wardrobes and whatever else could fit in the cars in a single journey on the same night, as any possessions left behind would be at risk of damage if Lydia flew into a rage. For the same reason, Peter asked the girls to accompany him in collecting the last few possessions in the morning.

Of course, when collecting the clothes, I'd imagine he'd specifically request that one garment in particular was left behind...possibly on Lydia's bed. No prizes for guessing which one :)

Then I'm considering (but haven't yet started) a TG parody of a very ancient tale.

Petra's outing

This is a great story. I've been writing mainstream fiction most of my life and I teach creative writing. So you can imagine I've had some experience in writing fiction and enjoyed every moment of it, since, like everyone else on this site, I love a good read like this one.

One of the comments said that domination and control was wrong and I agree wholeheartedly with that. Christ said 'Judge not lest ye be judged'. By dominating another human being, you are taking away their free will. Free will is a divine gift, given by God to every human being. Free will means, the individual's concious right to decide their own future and destiny, without interference from anyone else.
Domination is blasphemy, as the instigator thinks that they have the right to take control of another. God gave that gift and those that try and take it away are arrogant enough to believe they are better than God. Oh boy! I'd hate to be in their shoes on judgement day. God remembers every act and word ever done and said.
Ok time to get off my soapbox.

Strike one for a decent person who will not submit to the blind and evil arrogance of another. I actually cheered when Petra stole Lydia's thunder and did it in front of her work colleagues. WOW that took some courage, especially from an introverted guy. He ensured she had no hold over him and in the process made her, pardon the expletive, bitch of the year.

She will have to move far away, after the way she behaved. I would love to have the story show that her infamy followed her wherever she went. I think Peter/Petra has earned the admiration and respect of the others for his/her courage. Keep up the great writing.

I liked it just as it was

Short, well-written and with no wasted dialogue. Relationships should be built on trust; I like the way that Peter/Petra dealt with Lydia's perfidy.

laika's picture

A great addition to what seems to be a growing subgenre of t.g. fiction. Jolly fun for anyone who balks at many of the conventions of femdom. Great to see Petra being so resourceful, refusing to live by some sick manipulative weirdo's terms, and that her new friends fail to conform to the strange misogynistic caricature of females so often found in forced fem fiction---that spiteful, sadistic predatory mindset that seems to come from nowhere and for no discernable reeason (and which must give somebody a big woody but I don't see it)---but embody all of what's best about women.
I don't begrudge anyone their fantasies or turn ons, but stories like this here are far more enjoyable to me.
~~~hugs, Laika
Nice start
I certainly look forward to seeing what else you come up with. I think Peter would be smart to ask for a police officer to accompany them the next morning, what we call a 'Stand-by and keep the peace', where the officer makes sure both parties behave in a civil manner while property is being retrieved. Can't hurt, might be a very good idea.
As for what the "Designer" intended, that is the argument used by the radical Christian fringe to justify their bigotry towards the members of the GLBTQ community. So that is an argument I'd be careful in using. ;-)
As for remorse, I would find it difficult if not impossible to ever trust Lydia again, were I in Peter's shoes. I would also think that most of her friends will be reconsidering their friendship with her after this. At least the ones she bragged to in the first place. Some lines, once crossed, can't be uncrossed.
Keep up the good work!
Why not just pack up and leave.
Patricia Marie Allen's picture
Ah, So the worm turns. I like it. It's a bit gentler than the offering by my name sake, "Sissy's Revenge," by Patty Marie.
I often wonder when reading forced fem stories why doesn't the guy just pack up and leave? All it takes is a little guts to be who you are and thumb your nose at anyone who takes exception.
The reality of life is that most people really don't care how you live your life, so long as it doesn't hurt them. For the few who don't seem to have a life of their own to manage and want to manage yours, you'd do them a favor by showing them they aren't important enough to matter in your choices.
Bravo to Petra and to you for writing her story. You've a great start, keep it going.
Happiness is being all dressed up and HAVING some place to go.
Semper in femineo gerunt
Why not leave? Because.
I agree it's less likely these allegedly enlightened days, but packing up and leaving often isn't that simple.
For a start, one has to consider responsibilities, especially if there are any children involved. There's also various lame laws in some jurisdictions. If he moves out, she files for divorce claiming abandonment. She probably gets to keep the house while he gets to keep paying the mortgage - and funds her lifestyle just the way she wants it.
(mittfh avoids this by just making them partners, but even so she may have a legal claim on him.)
If she wants to ramp things up even more, she just lets people like his friends and workmates know what he is. Even if most are sympathetic, there's always one or two who will pick on him and eventually he'll have to find somewhere else to work, where he's not known. Rinse and repeat.
I know we here would all like the TG to win, but in reality she wouldn't have tried to blackmail him if she hadn't thought that there was some chance of success. By doing that, she shows that there was no trust between them in the first place. They're better off apart.
