Sorry folks, but I seem to befalling apart physically. The other night I awoke to a strange pain in my mouth only to find I'd chewed the side of my tongue--I don't recommend it. Then, on Thursday evening, Whizz took exception to me rubbing one of her feet and attacked me, or more precisely my right hand. I think she caught a tendon and it's swollen and sore but I don't think infected, however, typing isn't very easy. Finally, just to take my mind off my hand I seem to have sinusitis which is causing the whole side of my face to be very tender with occasional jabs of pain in my ear.

If no better by Monday, I'll consult the doctor. One of these days when I jokingly suggest euthenasia he'll actually do it. If he does I'll get someone to let you all know. I do take consolation in knowing that Whizz is actually a carnivore, which considering the amount of cucumber and crisps she eats, I was beginning to wonder.

Please take care of yourself. You don't need any of those strange infections.

hear of your ailments , They do say things tend to happen in threes , So lets hope thats the case and that very soon your are back to health ...
Female cats have we have found to our cost are far more fickle , Our big cuddly bundle of fur, Bruce would never attack us ( he knows not to bite the hand that feeds him lol ) unlike his sister who can never be trusted , Stroke her in the wrong place and you very soon receive a warning claw :-(

We need you in one piece!

Never been a cat person, playful to them is often taking chunks out of their staff! I guess you spotted the mutual stand off when i've visited - lol!

I've had sinus issues myself over the last year or so - not fun, I take two schnapps and an hour reading.

And whilst I've heard of eating your words actually chewing your tongue off is taking it a bit far!

Get well or i'll have to come and shame you into it!

Cripple Mum's hands and she won't be able to feed you.
Look after yourself Ang please.

"Reach for the sun."

How are you?

I hope you are feeling better today. A cat scratch can be quite dangerous, even from such a cutie a Whizz.

It's improving, thank you.

So hopefully I'll be able to work normally tomorrow. In future I'll stick to dormouse wrestling, cats are obviously beyond my capabilities.

Ouch!

My arms too have been well scarred by stroppy felines so my sympathy goes to you. On unusual cat appetitites I can add Cornflakes (dry) and Fox's Glacé Mints. Wishing you a speedy recovery

Very sorry to read about your

Very sorry to read about your current mishaps, both medically and from your cat.
Be very careful regarding any scratches received from your cat, especially if they go deep.
The reason is you can get an infection simply because of what they scratch about while in their litterbox.
It may seem like nothing at first, then can become something.
IF your issues do not go away rapidly, then seeing an MD is a must.
Learned about this when I once worked in a animal "shelter" back in my High School days.
They made us wear thick gloves because of this particular issue.
