Tales of the Eerie Saloon

Comments

I love this series, it's a must read!

I absolutely love this series! Jessie is by far my favourite character, although Emma certainly gives her a run for her money. This has to be one of my favourite series on this or other sites. The characters are very believable and the writing is exquisite. It's been forever and a half since you wrote your latest edition to the series and I really really hope you haven't abandoned your characters. I've been checking this site and sapphire's for updates periodically but still nothing. Please please please keep going with this series, it's just too wonderful to let it die.

Thank you!!

I just wanted to say thanks for all of your stories, but especially this one. The Eerie Saloon series is one of my favorite ones, along with the Ovid series by the Professor.

I have probably read and re-read both series dozens of times, and just realized that I haven't ever written a comment about them.

The only thing I have seen which might need editing is Maggie's last name. It seems to go back and forth from Sanchez to Lopez. Any reason for this? Just curious.

Once again thanks for one of my favorite stories, and any news on when we might hear more from Eerie?

Thanks and Oops

Thank you for the kind words.

Like MANY other people, I'm a BIG fan of the Ovid tales.

Maggie's last name is de Aguilar.

(Sigh) To fess up, I goofed and messed up on her maiden name a few times, and Chris, sadly, didn't catch my error. In the original story, Judge Humphreys legally changed Miguel "Mickey" Sanchez's name to Margarita "Maggie" Sanchez. That's her official name. It's also the maiden name listed on her marriage license.

de Aquilar . . . Smart

de Aquilar . . .

Smart aleck.

Seriously though, thanks for the info. I can now go and do a correction to the stories: I've put them in epub format so I can read them on my phone when I'm away from the net (Yes there ARE still areas where there is no wifi or 3g coverage).

When can we expect to see the next one, or is this series on Hiatus, and what are you working on now? Keep writing, I've enjoyed all of your works.

We Aren't on Hiatus

It's slow work, but Chris and I aren't on hiatus.

In point of fact, we're just finishing up the work on Week 9, and I'm working on the first draft of week 10 of "Eerie Saloon: Season of Change -- Spring." With any luck, we should post the next segment, "Eerie Saloon: Seasons of Change -- Spring", some time in mid (I hope) 2013. There's more on this in my blog as a new entry.
