This story is related to that one, as it tells about things that happened at the orphanage after those six kids ran away in May of 2006.

Most of the story is told from one boy's viewpoint, i. e., memories of what happened to himself and some other boys there.

Cassandra's abilities in magic almost perfectly matched her business acumen, being mostly in the realm of organizing and running everything.

Tanisha's abilities were very much in the natural realm, primarily to do with plants, but she also had a fair knowledge of genetics. She put that to use once they had brought the seven vehicles to the new town and they had set up personal tents to give them a sense of privacy.

I have five chapters of this written, so I am going to post daily until the backlog is gone. Hopefully this will allow readers to get into the story easier. The first two chapters have been a bit tumultuous. Until I posted, I had always had the story in one file, and didn't realize how very dark the first chapter was. I’m scared to walk home alone. After the events of today, I don’t want to be alone. I reach the gate that exits the school grounds, and I eye it nervously. Come on Aaron. You’ve done this before. It’s just a walk home. I don’t know why I’m so apprehensive about walking home alone. I’m not used to being this paranoid. What did I think would happen to me? I look down at my skirt. My legs bare to the no-show socks. My heart is pounding. My stomach is in knots.

Synopsis

Jessica is a 17 year old girl. The first child of Tom and Francine's two kids she is a spoilt brat, at school she is at the heart of the social circle, an integral member of the cheer squad. She is also an alpha bitch and doesn’t care who or what she hurts just as long as she can have her own way. However things turn around when her behaviour leads to another teen being outed as transgendered and ends up committing suicide. Three nights later a woman appears and turns her into the boy she might have been born as with all the feelings of being a girl inside, in essence she is made transgendered, altering her life drastically.

The five emoticons of Joy, Anger, Fear, Disgust, and Sadness adapt to Chris' family moving to San Francisco. Disaster strikes as Sadness takes over the control center in Chris' mind sending him into a world of despair and self-loathing. As Chris begins to change, can Joy take back control and save his life?

A night sky full of stars - it's late - a young man slowly walks back  to the place they are staying at from a birthday party - walking across a bridge high above a small river the runs though town they stop as they look over the side - with tears running down they face all they can think about is how easy it would be to end it - to step off the edge  - end all the pain and suffering - no longer seeing any way out...
