Big Wind

We are going to get a hurricane in Florida in the next 2 days , they say it will go west of the stae till the northern panhandle. The Repulican convention is this week and this has been thier fear since they started to plan the event and the convention center is in the flood zone A as it is only about 200 feet or so from the water at 4ft elevation and they are exspecting a 5ft storm surge (how well can you swim). I will post after the storm passes and let you know how we make out, all depends on how far off shore it will stay

Most totally rotten evilest day of the year.... No REALLY !

On this day in 1930 Sir Thomas Sean Connery was born.

Conneryas007.jpg

He wasn't SIR in those days.

This is also Tim Burton, the film director's birthday and that of Ivan the Terrible.

AND in 1961 Billy Ray Cyrus... and my EVIL BLOND SISTER TM were both born.

Damn it. I could have been Hannah Montanna's uncle!

Fooey.

And mom and dad said I was getting a baby brother or sister.

Maybe someone could be friendly enough to bring and old foagie up to date? Last I heard Wonder Woman was going to be coming out as a lesbian. Also that the original Flash was also going to be coming out as gay.

I just read in my Entertainment Weekly that Superman and Wonder Woman are going to be the new power couple. So I take it the lesbian stuff just got tossed?? What happens with Lois?

Any enlightenment would be appreciated..

Thanks

...and we danced

I started my 'career' here with a story about a painfully shy transwoman finding love and life in a festival at Shrewsbury. She was engaged there, took her friends there, saw their own love break out from fear and misunderstanding...and it is this weekend.

There is a leave ban on. I have just finished work, and I was refused time off for the one shift I needed. The train companies also had a bike ban on, which they dropped on August 17th. I should be there, but I can't be. Next year....

Latest Chapter

The latest chapter of Transitioning Home is intense, especially the end. It is shocking and a slap in the face and hurts. And is the kind of fucked up situation that someone could find themselves in during battle. This story does not deal with only the PTSD aspects of Thomas' life but they are a part of his story. Any vet who has done time in combat can tell you that. Facing intense situations and screwed up situations changes you in profound ways. That is one of the transitions that Thomas has to deal with. He has to get part of his mind out of the desert and back to the states.

I Lucid Dream In Cinema

I am not what you would call a calm sleeper. I tend to toss and turn throughout the night, waking up, and falling back to sleep over and over again. Sometimes I come closer to consciousness than true sleep, and during these times, when I'm almost in control of what I'm thinking, I tend to have my clearest -- and often, strangest -- dreams.

Last night, this happened to me, and the result is something that, while nil on actual TG content, I still felt compelled to share.

Learn to Write Better

I have tried to write many stories. Some are so terrible, that even after I've written a few pages, I don't even want to save it. I'm a programmer by trade, and I believe my "creative brain" is sometimes completely locked away entirely and my writing reads more like a list of facts. But, some read OK. It's kind of funny, because some times, when I read over something I wrote years earlier, I'm impressed and even wonder if I really could have written it.

Why they want new generations behave well if when I was a child I saw this:
Tarzan always walked naked
Cinderella arrived at midnight
Pinocchio was a liar
Batman drove 320 km / hr
Sleeping Beauty slept all day
Candy Candy had two boyfriends
Top Cat had a gang
Popeye used herb to feel good
Snow White lived with 7 men
And all they lived happily ever after

Anyone have more role models like these to go on ?

Hi all!

Busy, busy, busy these days! I'm just preparing to move into my new house for the next year so I have been taking care of all that jazz but do not fret as I am still in the process of writing the next three episodes of Crossdressing Charlie.

Relating to that, I have a bit of an announcement to make. Episodes 13, 14 and 15 will be the penultimate episodes of the first series, collectively titled as Volume One. Think of it as a kind of season finale to a TV show after a few months run.

The Doctor's verdict

I forgot to talk about my visit to the doctor's today. My old family doctor had retired, so I saw his replacement. I gave him the Cliff Notes on my situation, and he gave me a total physical. He had a nurse there for dealing with my fiddly bits (partially because I told him about being abused, I suspect, and partially to honour my preferred gender.)

The worst part was getting a rectal exam, which was as horrible an experience as you might expect for someone who has been raped like I was.

Life is stomping all over me this summer(with alpine spikes). Since the death of my Mom in the spring I have tried to set things right and move on with life. That has been delayed due to the pettiness of some Medicaid cretins. they determined in with their rules and procedures to only give Mom partial coverage so that the creditors were left with unpaid sums of money which they feel is due them, probably rightly so, but they have begun court proceedings to get the money from me.

I had a sobering dose of reality delivered to me by four of the women in my life today. My, mother, sister and two sister's -in-law pretty much told me I have been fooling myself that I could ever think I could ever be successful as a woman the way I have been going. I went to our family reunion yesterday and today my sister-in-law proceeded to chop whatever self confidence I had left in myself to shreds. She told me that I just "existed" in that room yesterday and my body language showed I didn't care. It seems like I am doomed to failure in the make up department too.

If you hadn't noticed, I started posting a new story, but I am having some issues.

Here is my problem. I think the story really should be a stand alone story. I think it would work better that way. The problem is that length has gotten the best of me and I haven't even finished writing the whole thing yet. I think in the end it will be under 30k words, but feel as if that may be too much for one post (I think post should be kept under 10k and usually strive for 5k). Maybe its because I view Big Closet more like a magazine than a library though.

A warning about Facebook

I notice that lots of authors on BCTS are also on Facebook and some have friended me. I noticed some funny stuff going on about a month ago and then they said that they wanted each user to use their real name. Then I noticed that I was getting things in my email that were hostile, so I closed both my FB accounts down. I do not plan to return to them, and may open new email accounts if it gets worse.

Was eating dinner when this popped into my head...

Congratulations on the birth of your son, son, daughter, daughter, son , daughter, son , daughter. WAAAPP

is your child.

Walter looked up from his computer who just informed him of his wife's delivery.

"Either my wife just gave birth to the worlds record in children or I'm gonna need serious therapy when my kid becomes a teenager."

Giggle couldn't resist *^_^*

My computer has died

Well, I no longer have a computer. I tend to leave my computer in "sleep" mode because it has some problems with rebooting. Until last night, when a storm managed to knock the system for a loop, and nothing I've been able to do has brought it back. Sorry folks, but that means your not gonna hear from me much.

Chapter 2 and an update

So here is chapter 2. Enjoy the read. This is where the plot really emerges and gets a bit crazier. Gotta feel for the poor guy.

As for the update, before the latest round of storms to come through I managed to get more writing done. Once the pain fades I should be able to get back to that and finish that chapter up, so hopefully a new Kit and Kin soon for you all, so long as my pain levels remain at good levels.

Well TTFN and TTYL.

"Operation Rescue - The New Co-Ed" by Elrod W @ Fictionmania

Has anyone else here been following Operation Rescue - The New Co-Ed by Elrod W on the Fictionmania site? It is a fascinating and well written story. The first chapter was posted two years ago. Chapter twenty was posted today; and the story is not yet complete. I find myself going to the fictionmania site just to check for up dates to this one story.

Four down and two to go

Somewhat to my amazement I have just posted the final chapter of my fourth full-length novel. Before I started posting to BC, two and a half years ago, I'd never managed to complete any of the six novels that I’d started writing. I would get so far and then become blocked, and so would start writing something else. I ended up with six partly written novels each one about 35,000 words in length.

Scared of my anger

I was reading a story here, and when the main character remembered being raped, I was a little surprised at my reaction.

I got mad.

I mean really, really mad. Cold fury ready to hurt something, someone.

For just a moment, I was something dangerous before I managed to get it back under control.

I need a place to get rid of this anger safely, because I'm just a little scared of myself at the moment.

Demonoid

Does anyone have any info on what may have happened to Demonoid? For a couple of days, when I tried to get to the site, I got server busy screens, no matter the time I tried to access. Then I got 404 errors, then I got other ad websites, now all I get is the standard can't find it page. I wonder if the Feds or allies finally got to them.
