Grover's Hospital Adventures

The following is Grover's Adventures in Hospital Land thus far:

Tuesday, May 19:
Grover finished walking the dog at around 10:30 AM, and had some shoulder pain. Thinking it was just muscle pain due to weather changes, he took some Tylenol. However, the pain did not go away after 30 minutes and his fingertips started feeling numb.

However, the pain did not go away after 30 minutes and his fingertips started feeling numb. !--break-- He called me at work, and said he might need to go the ER, but didn't want to interrupt my workday. What a silly goose. I immediately left and took him to the nearest ER, where we waited for about two hours for him to be seen.

Ninjas in stilettos

I have been a regular follower of a blog call The Sleep Talking Man. He is, by day, a mild-mannered gentleman. He is soft spoken and doesn't swear or use foul language....until.....

When he sleeps at night, he'll start talking. Oh y'all are in for a great surprise! The night of April 28, he said something that I think everyone will enjoy.

Check out the entry dated april 29.

Hope ya'll have fun with it.

I Hate the Hard Sell!

I know this has nothing to do with TG elements, but I know a lot of you are computer savvy, as I am not.

Yesterday, my computer somehow caught a cold. A trojan horse or virus, I'm not sure which, was acquired. I called the local tech support number that was listed on the anti-virus program Grover and I use for our computers.

Thank you

I just wanted to extend my thanks to those who have taken Grover and myself under their wings....(You know who you are). I especially want to thank the girls who went to the Southern Comfort conference for taking such good care of my hubby, and making sure he had a great time.

Oh, thank you Ariel, for the book. I am enjoying it immensely. :-)

I'm glad everyone had a wonderful time, and I'm relieved y'all are home safe and sound!

Smooches,
Paula

A potential new member of the family

A couple of weeks ago, Grover told you about our Delta and having to say goodbye to her. Well, there is hopefully going to be a new addition to our family. I have been going through depressive bouts, and Grover has been kind enough to encourage both of us to adopt a new pet.

Please keep your fingers, toes, eyes, and whatever else crossed so we may have good luck in adopting a new family member. We should have more info before the end of next week.

Thank you for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers as Grover and I mourn the passing of a wonderful doggy friend.

Beware the VELOCIBUNNY!!!

My wonderful husband, Grover, drove me to work today. On the way there we were talking about the blog "Women are Hard to Read". As the conversation went on, we then talked about the virtual whirlwind of emotions and thoughts that women go through during different parts of life. I told him I was cute and fuzzy when things are going well, but if someone I love or care for is being attacked (according to my perception) then the claws come out. He turned to me and said..."So...you're a Velocibunny!"

In answer to some questions that were implied.

I have gained permission to use names by those who are mentioned in my posting.

I want to thank those who posted comments to my 'blog'. As stated, the events are true because my husband, Grover, and I have and are still coming to terms with what is going on between us.
