I started crying. I don't normally cry, but I did.

Well, as of Wednesday Morning at about 10AM CT, my name is officially Joy Anne Phillip.

The judge signed the order, and now the only things I have left to do in this journey is the SRS (which I may not get) and to tell my mother that she has four daughters now. All my boy clothes (with the exception of about 6 shirts totsl) are gone. Not having to keep two warddrobes certainly helped.

Need to get my voice higher, but I can't seem to find good voice coach stuff on the Web.

Well, on Oct 12, I came into my workplace in full femme. Essentially, I've started my real life test, even though I have no intention of getting SRS.

This actual process was this:

I told my immediate supervisor about my TG status on teh first day. I told him that he could share it with those who HAD to know, HR, his manger, the team lead that I was with, but that if he didn't pass it around it would be good.
At the same time, I started wearing more makeup, wearing girl's jeans and sometimes tops, sports bras which couldn't hide the budding breasts.

Well, I haven't updated this in so long, you must all be thinking I died or something....

I haven't died, in fact things are going a lot better than they have had in a long time. A Long time....

First, the job: I'm in the routine now. And I'm actually enjoying it. There is a lot of crap that goes along with it, like stupid users, but that's actually minor. I've been able to get 99.9% of the people I interact with to leave a call with me happier and more satisfied than when they came on. I actually TRY to fix their problem. Which is the actual point of the Level 1 Helpdesk.

Okay, this is something that I don't want to post, but I am because awareness needs to be raised.

First: The job is legitimately delayed. There's some sort of problem and they can't get the scheduling right. I was told by the guy who recruited me that my TS status has no bearing on anything, and that as long as I am the best rep for Dell I can be, things are fine.

Well, I have good news.

I have a job.

It's only 33 weeks, working as a temp for Dell, but it's better than nothing.

Now the problem....

I asked the recruiter about what I needed to do as a transitioning woman, and the NEXT DAY they called me and said that the job wasn't going to be starting on the start date.

Well, we have lost our insurance as of November 30th. No more hormones. Can't afford them. Now have to buy them off the web.

After being on them for 5 months, now I'll be off them and all the progress lost. SUX.

Well, I'm going on a story that Lilith and I were co-writing. But she can't think of anything to do to it, so I'm finishing the story. It's coming, Batgirl/Catwoman retcon. But it going to take me a bit to finish it up. It's at 20 pages and growing now.

Don't despair, things will come.

Don't know if I'm going to be finishing the other series though. I have to just to wrap them up, but other than just tying up the hanging threads, I don't think I'll do much more. My Ninja Muse just isn't talking to me much anymore.

Well, I got the T* blocker. Apparently my insurance WILL pay for it, as long as it's NOT the generic version.

Damned insurance.

Well, I've changed my mind now.

I am going to pursue transitioning to female full time.

I've started talking to my therapists and I'm going to talk to some people about getting on hormones, I'm going to have to see if there are options that low income people have access to with those so I can continue on this journey.

Mia chapter 5 had been finished. It was one of those chapters that takes forever to finish because it's akward and just a chore.

Well, it's not done anymore.

I would like to tap the collective experience of the community here.

I'm considering going on hormones.

Now, I'm 42, overweight, diabetic, high blood pressure, and I have a wife and daughter (both of whom are fine with this).

I am totally ignorant on this, so I would like to hear from you all.

I'm sorry I have not been here. I have not been anywhere for some time. My life in short:

1) I got sick.
2) My wife got sick too and had to go to the hospital for it.
3) I got a short term assignment and it was at night
4) I got another short term assignment as (get this) a secretary.
5) I started a process of redoing my entire *other* site, the religious one, into Wordpress from the static site it was.
6) I got sick again.

Just did a search and couldn't find my site on Google. It only came up with my site when I put in very specific keywords that I knew couldn't be in any other combination on other websites.

For those of you here who liked the series, I have moved the "Mindy the Slave" series to my weblog. I also just added another chapter tonight.
